The disc less model has been $399 since launch in America.
I bought the disc drive add on and saved $25.

It's currently 394.95 on amazon but you have to put it in your basket. I remember I'd seen it.
Maybe it doesn't flag on price drops that way. Plus you have to have prime but I've always had prime that's why I saw that price.

Aesthetically it does look cool but some of those design-mold leaks from earlier in the year made it look like the SX that we currently have, just in white and without a disc tray.

Discs are dinosaur media locked in a glass case. They can have racks of cards that show the cover art if they want that everyone can pick up and look at and take to the counter to buy and take home. No one has really bothered to capitalize on that, but I've seen something similar at Best Buy already.

I am waiting for some deep discounts in The UK so can gen second unit. Already bought 1x xbsx on release day for myself and 2x xbss for kids (which they love with gamepass added). If they announce new version this Sunday might get another one. Still holding to my Xbox one x, but it is unused since 2020.Sold my PS4 Pro on my rust occasion I had.
