The XIII remake is out tomorrow, November 10. Microids has just released a new trailer, visible below, to remind you.
Available on Steam, it will offer the single player campaign of the original, released in 2003, as well as a multiplayer mode.

Really cool, I was working at EB Games when the original dropped and I wanted to check it out. Never got around to it.

Cool that they did redo the multiplayer as well, but it would've been awesome if they could've made it online.

I want it, but not at full price. Not with games like Valhalla out tomorrow. This rerelease will probably flop just like the original.

I got all excited for a XIII trilogy remaster then went "oh"
The Xbox One X ports of that trilogy essentially are remasters, just without the price tag. They're still shit games, but if you want the trilogy in 4k with remastered cutscenes, you can get it

On topic:. Is this game any good? I remember being a bit curious about it back in high school but I never pulled the trigger. Didn't seem to make a big splash, but then again everything is being remastered these days.

The original was massively underrated. I have a physical copy but bought the steam version just now for under €3. Absolute no-brainer. Will grab the remake in a few weeks, maybe Christmas.

It's not worth remastering, in my opinion. It didn't do anything amazing by 2003 standards.

Well, I'd have preferred an Area 51 re-release, but if I can only have one re-release of an OG Xbox conspiracy-theory game with a protagonist voiced by David Duchovny, XIII isn't too bad :)

Is this the year of remakes/remastered? Has there ever been this many?

By the way huge memories with the originals, one of the first games I ever played on PC. Although I'm not very trustworthy it was a good idea to bring it back. Execution doesn't seem that good either.
