I never saw this movie back when it first came out on DVD (despite it being only $10 at Fry's), but I saw it for the first time last night on IFC, and they even showed it in widescreen (right before a widescreen showing of Magnolia). Very, very good movie and I'll probably be picking it up this week from the Amazon link above.
What surprised me about it was that Alfonso Cuarón went from directing this to directing Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban.
