SNL always had Sean Connery (Darrell Hammond) in their version of Celebrity Jeopardy. Sean would give Alec shit about everything from his mother to the names of the category. One of the categories was callexd "The Pen Is Mightier..." Sean pronounced it as "The Penis Mightier". Hence the funny. Of course, you'd have to be familiar with the skit to get it....

yes but yahoo isn't referencing penis mightier as an intentional joke, they're just referencing the actual expression but I guess some people just chuckle whenever they see "The pen is mightier than the 'S' words"
