Initial previews claim this thing sounds as amazing as Yamaha has proclaimed. This one box has 42 individual drivers driven by separate amps, used to generate 'beams' of sound to create the surround sound effect. At $1500 it may sound steep, but for a potentially great sounding home theater setup in one incredibly convenient box, that's something of a bargain. Man I'd love to test drive this sucker at CES.
