WHO DEY!?
Can't believe...

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Rage Against The Machine vocalist Zack De La Rocha has completed his first solo album, a project he has been working on since first leaving the band in 2000.

A source said De La Rocha plays keyboards on the album and that the sound is a hybrid of "Led Zeppelin and Dr. Dre. Some of it has the power you'd expect from him in Rage."

De La Rocha is understood to be unsigned and mulling distribution offers.

Post-Rage, De La Rocha has recorded material with DJ Shadow, Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and the Roots' ?uestlove, but it is unknown if any of these tracks appear on the finished album. One song with Reznor, "We Want It All," appears on the 2004 compilation "Songs and Artists that Inspired Fahrenheit 9/11."

Rage Against The Machine reunited in late April to co-headline the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in southern California and has played a handful of gigs since. The lone shows left on the band's itinerary are in late October at the Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans and the Vegoose festival in Las Vegas.

One of the biggest whinny, hypocritical lead singers ever.

They do put on a good live show, I saw them open for U2 in Memphis and at Woodstock 99

Yeah, but then he signed for Sony...

The only reason Chinese Democracy isn't out is because Axl can't be arsed...and is probably too lazy to tour to boot.

he's toured at least three times in support of this album (which is odd enough) so I don't think he's too lazy.
The band began the 2007 leg of the Chinese Democracy tour on June 2 in Mexico; dates in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan followed. The tour has now been completed and, as of yet, there has been no word on a follow-up tour or any more information regarding the release of the album.

They just completed a multi continent world tour.

you can? how much can you care less? is it a quantifiable amount, or just a gut feeling?

My caring rating was once at 87.34. After they got back together it went down to 0. Cant go any lower since this scale is based on the Kelvin system.

6 months ago, his CD was the only hope from ever hearing from him again. Now that the whole band is back playing together, Zack is no longer MIA and a new album is most likely inevitable.
