I'm sure this has been discussed, but I did a search and couldn't find it.

How can this game have one save file? Every Zelda I can remember had multiple files. Sucks my wife and I can't both play.

Let this serve as a warning for people who haven't purchased it yet, I guess.

Is it a Switch limitation? I saw recent news that saves are tied to the console, so maybe it affected Wii U version?

You get one set of save files (it auto saves a lot) per user account. Just make a seperate account for your wife.

Oh! Didn't know that. Still wish it was just a normal file system though.

Yeah several (all?l Wii U games separate save files per individual user profiles.

Look on the bright side. It's way harder for one of you to accidentally oversave the other.

Though you can no longer keep a slot dedicated to a specific moment in the game like before and cutscene or boss.
