Zelda Tattoo

:o

Yeah, I saw that at another forum, but I dunno if it's already been posted here.

It's really well done, but I'm really surprised they let him do a nine-hour session. I'm surprised he didn't bleed dry.

Eh, it's not so much the pain that sessions are kept short. And some people can tolerate tattoos way easier than others. But the reason that tattoos are done in sessions is because of bleeding, as I said. Most artists would have done that in at least two sessions, because nine hours of bleeding, as minimal as it may be, can't be too good.

I guess he didn't here that the new Zelda abandoned the whole Wind Waker look...

Lol i was thinking the exact same thing. On a side note as i don't keep up with the portable zeldas, does the zelda from bacon's icon fall under minnish cap or wind waker? Or are they the same incarnation?

HA HA HA HA , oh God Cain no offense man but that's not true at all.

an outline like that one is a one session job and would produce little to NO blood at all.

i could see that tattoo as an out line the size it is taking 2-3 hours 4-5 would be pushing it even for an outline bolded that large. i'd believe 9-14 hours if it was colored but no way for an outline unless the guy was slower then hell.

Oh let me clarify, i am a tattoo artist. been doing it about 11 years now and know what i'm talking about. been around you could say... http://worldofozz.com

funny you guys brought up this up. i have seen and done many video game tattoos over the years. sad thing is most of them are so badly done it's hard to respect what they are or even enjoy looking at them.

i'll see about snaping a couple shots of some video game work. i gotta admit i really enjoy it when people get it. i had designed a whole series based off some classic games at one point even. (larger work though)

a friend/ aquantence of mine actually gotto do some fun video game work a long time ago.

if you have never seen it it's at http://www.eyecandytattoo.com/Randy.htm#

So fucking what?
Haha.

I don't know about you guys, but I have a problem putting a huge, expensive tatto on my body. Eventually, when that guy is 70, he will regret putting a videogame on his back.

He likes Zelda, what did you expect? :D
That really wasnt funny.

I dont exactly hate tatoos. Some look really cool, but when I think about how it will look when I grow up, I just freak out.

Said a Man Utd fan one day...
I had a tattoo. It fucking really hurt loads. Strangely affirming though...

I'm just waiting for a picture of some dude who got a Rood Inverse tattood all over his back. Now THAT would be something worth seeing.

why would he regret it?

do you have any large well done tattoos and are you 70? can you speak from multple years ex·pe·ri·enc?

believe it or not most people who get well done good quality art DO NOT regret it, EVER, at 20-50 or 70.

that is a misconception. people with hacker tattoos normally regret them that same week and even more so 5 years down the road when the ink looks like trash. yuck!

i live eat and breath art and tattoos for the last 11 years. like i said i been around.

I met a girl once who had that tattooed on her back. Looked pretty damn nice too.

Thanks for sharing. We'll all be sure to remember this for the rest of our days

Cool and this do not belong in the same sentence.

The design is cool, but the fact that it's plastered on a flabby geeks back completely negates any coolness facter one could possibly find from a mosaik of Zelda.

Strange, how many people came in for the triforce tattoo? Any of them on the backside of their hand?

tell us about some of the videogame tattoos you've seen? Or just plain fucked up tattoos in general.

I hope Zelda turns into a hardcore gay porn series, and this guy lives to regret this ultimate of nerdy acts. I'm assuming he's gonna get color added. Even if he did lose the fat, he'd still have to keep his shirt on. :lol Actually, that's so well done, I can't really hate on it. It's nerdy, but if you're gonna do it, do it right. PEACE.

here is a small selection of some i am using as the start of a cover up of some old nasty work. it's a pain in the ass doing it to yourself but i enjoy doing my own work when i can.

anyway should be reconizable enough.

when all is done the background will be covered with new stuff to go along with everything.

Are you fat? If so, know this. It's not my fault you have lost your battle with the 'meal'.

I used to be, but that is beside the point.

I hope you get fat for some medical reason, and you can't lose the wieght, and when people make fun of you and your crying I'll have a good ole laugh...

It's a nice Tat... doesn't matter if the guy is a little chunky, plenty of skinny dudes have shitty ass tat's

While I'm no fan of tattoos, I can at least respect of them. It's not your body, it really doesn't affect you, so why do you care? Some of the responses in this thread are really quite appalling.

Tolerance: Just because you don't agree doesn't mean you have to be a dick about it.
