May 19, 2005 - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is easily one of the most hotly anticipated games of the year. But the game's epic size has caused some industry pundits to speculate that it could be delayed to 2006 in one or more regions of the globe.

Good news, though. When question on the subject, Nintendo's vice president of corporate affairs, Perrin Kaplan, put the rumors to rest.

Asked if Zelda would launch in America, Europe and Japan the world this year, Kaplan said, "Yes."

Good news for the euros and americans.

Indeed this is good news. I'm not even considering buying a next-gen console until I've exhausted this gen, and by look of the release lists that'll be a decent amount of time.

Sweet. November again, I guess

After watching the 30 min video from IGN, I'm pretty hyped.
Yes. THe footage has me hyped.

THey are already fixed some things from last years build, horse hair moves etc. While I don't expect every texture to be hi-res etc. I think it looks tip top already and with 5-6 months untill completion that is a good thing (EDIT: assuming it does not launch in japan late summer - mid autumn).

oh and the gale boomerang is rad, I can't wait to see what other tweaks classic weapons have in this, I am looking at you, hookshot :)

edit:magnet gloves please
