Alright- finished last weeks episode

First of all, it features perhaps the best writing of the series. Recon realizes its just a fucking videogame, Suicides himself, and Leafa's comment is "man, the respawn penalty for that is pretty bad!" THAT'S THE EXACT REACTION YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE! Glad to see this not built up with false melodrama.

Also, when people talk about liking it for the action, well, this episode had great action. Too bad it's surrounded by shitty Siscom!

see, i'm not sure that's true because they kinda tried to brush that whole idea under the rug about a quarter of the way through. it's actually kind of laughable. i mean, i'm ok with them dropping the focus on this subplot, but if you're gonna put it in the series at all you need to fucking commit and don't create a half-assed resolution.

also deus ex machina and overly convenient plot devices and shit.
