Sakurai showed the male Wii Fit Trainer randomly and we still don't know anything about it lol.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
And the numerous stages, and Find Mii boss etc. etc.

I am okay with that. Might as well evolve Ivysaur and Squirtle as well.
I hope you're right. The female Villager is so cute, she needs to be in.
Why? There is no need to cut Red out. Red and Serena could coexist in the game.

If would do happen to get the 6th gen starter then we'll have a backlash from the gen1/Red fans probably worse than the Lucario fiasco.
But you know "spots/slots being taken".
Edit:Three Rosalina in a row...Jackpot.
Can we really call it a fiasco now?
All it was a bunch of ignorant/butthurt Mewtwo fans thinking he's out and who've never followed Pokemon.
I'd totally main Venusaur. It was my first favorite Pokémon and I am still very fond of it.If only to provide Blastoise Cannons I'd love it.
Yeah, but to be fair, people will always find something to complain about. At least we would have three new unique characters (the starters). But you know "spots/slots being taken".

Uh, wasn't that pic released on Halloween? That miiight have something to do with it too![]()
The trial version of Wii Fit U is available now! We'd like to share this pic to commemorate the occasion.
Yeah, that picture being released to coincide with the Wii Fit U trial was totally random.
Oh lol, didn't know that.Yes, absolutely. Which is why this is the daily pic's quote:
Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Also, I still stand by my idea that they should let you port over your New Leaf Villager to use in battle.
My guy looks like Skull Kid, and I wanna smash with him.
But you know "spots/slots being taken".

Honestly I'm glad we've dodged that bulletI'm still sad that this will likely never happen

Do hope we get at least one new Pokémon character. Though Mega Mewtwo & Mega Lucario can sort of count, I want something brand new. Unfortunately, most Kalos Pokémon aren't really set up for a game like this and the ones that are set up for it, are not as iconic to warrant it.
Are people crazy?
Do you really have to ask that?
I mean, you're talking about a fanbase that throws hissy fits over a character returning, and actively tries to come up with arguments to exclude characters (both potential newcomers and veterans).
It shocks me that there are still people out there who think Wolf is a clone.
Why Victini? What is the appeal of it and why would it be a better choice than Zoroak (who could have some wonderful mechanics with its Illusion ability)?I think Victini is the best choice for a relatively new Pokemon. Also if Mewtwo returns it makes even more sense to choose a smaller Pokemon.
I'd actually want Greninja, Delphox, and Chesnaught.
Evolve them bad boys since their final forms vary so much in mobility and ability.

Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, and Manaphy being rare Poké Ball summons has pretty much cemented Victini's fate. It's the fifth generation equivalent of those legendaries.I think Victini is the best choice for a relatively new Pokemon. Also if Mewtwo returns it makes even more sense to choose a smaller Pokemon.
I feel like there's got to be a Pokémon newcomer, though. It's far too popular to skip over. Melee added Mewtwo and Pichu, and Brawl introduced Pokémon Trainer and Lucario.
The following mainline Pokémon games have been released since Brawl:
Pokémon Platinum
Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver
Pokémon Black & White
Pokémon Black 2 & White 2
Pokémon X & Y
While I'm near certain Mewtwo will be coming back, it isn't a newcomer.
I think this is the best option, too. Sakurai has stated that Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard were chosen so that PT would have a character of each weight class. With the final evos of the Kalos starters, you could have Greninja as the lightweight, Delphox as the medium weight, and Chesnaught as the heavyweight.
7 of the 8 Pokémon to be playable in Smash Bros. are bipedal, so I don't think that matters much.I think that if their is only one new Pokemon, it will be one that has four legs, or at least doesn't stand upright. I'm just not sure if the developers would want another human-esque Pokemon.
You honestly don't think a new Pokémon Trainer is a realistic possibility? The only realistic possibilities I can think of are:
Brawl "clones": well, they weren't as similar as I remembered for the most part.
Marth & Ike: Felt way different, for some reason I remembered Ike being as similar as Roy was to Marth.
Blaziken would be a bit boring, especially when there is already a Fighting-type Pokémon in Smash, as well as a Fire-type starter (Charizard).
You honestly don't think a new Pokémon Trainer is a realistic possibility?
It's far too specialized a gimmick -- recycling the idea would diminish the original character. And adding a second Pokémon Trainer means adding three Pokémon newcomers; that's way too much representation. Assuming Jigglypuff and Mewtwo are playable, there aren't going to be 10 characters from a single series. You honestly don't think a new Pokémon Trainer is a realistic possibility?

Likewise, it shocks me that there are still people who don't know that Snake is a clone.
Agreed. One of the best looking Mega Evolutions so far.But his mega evolution is pretty sweet.
I see. It is true that a new Pkmn Trainer would require a lot of work, but I don't think recycling the idea would diminish Red in any way. It's far too specialized a gimmick -- recycling the idea would diminish the original character. Zoroark - It's the mascot of the fifth generation
Fox & Falco & Wolf: Much more differences than the Melee duo, I didn't remember them being this different. Not Mario & Luigi different, but somewhere between that and Link & Toon Link. Seems like the question I am left to ask is "why have 3 Star Fox characters?"
Lucario and Mewtwo are pretty similar
Now that you mention, Gengar would be an amazing addition to SSB4 roster.Playable Ghost pls Sakurai. Such an awesome type with so many cool Pokemon.
Yeah, same here. I vastly prefer Infernape over regular Blaziken. Mega Blaziken though, it is another story.I dislike regular Blaziken but love the Mega form.
