Oh man, a new Nintendo Direct tomorrow and Sakurai retweeted it. I wonder what this means for Diddy tonight and a potential newcomer tomorrow. I can't imagine they'd both revealed one right after the other, so it either means Diddy isn't happening tonight and we get a newcomer tomorrow, or he is and there's no big Smash news during the Direct.
So many possibilities, though. If he doesn't happen tonight in favor of a newcomer tomorrow that isn't a Diddy/Dixie tag team, does that mean he's possibly been cut? Or might he just be revealed on a random date?

Sakurai didn't retweet it yet. I really hope that they would reveal two characters in one trailer to throw us off the guard. Show Diddy being in Smash 4 then fake out with a newcomer (Other than Dixie to surprise us, but Dixie is fine too) I really hope that fake out character would be something interesting.
It's possible that we are getting Dixie tomorrow, Wario for Mario Party, and Diddy for Mario Kart 8

Getting hit too hard causes the baby to fall off, similar to Yoshi's Island 2. You then have to collect the baby to prevent penalties.
There is one bonus though, Samus get's stunned while THE BABY is floating around.

Probably. It lends itself well to getting hype up for the Directs.
Sakurai Retweeted prior to the Sonic and Rosalina trailers, so... maybe not. There's still time, though.
That's reassuring. Did he retweet before Luigi was revealed? That could lend more towards Diddy or Yoshi being shown, if we get anything Smash at all.

Baby Mario riding Yoshi would be cool, but I can't think of what he would bring to the moveset. I've been thinking something like that may happen though, and that's why it's taking so long to reveal Yoshi.
And everyone keep in mind that two veterans have been revealed in Directs:
1) Sonic, a major 3rd party guest.
2) Luigi, who at the time was the first traditionally unlockable character to be revealed.
So I don't think Diddy will be the big Direct reveal. I honestly don't know what to expect though.

I want to say sakurai wanted the direct at a later time(basically the next day in japan) sohe could show diddy kong in the daily pic tonight and a newcomer tomorrow, but thats just my wishful thinking.

Remember guys: the Nintendo Direct airs in Japan on the 14th, so it is entirely possible we could get something tomorrow and later on that night. Would Sakurai reveal two characters within a day of the other? I don't know, but nothing says he can't. Though I wouldn't expect anything right now until Sakurai mentions something specifically.
