EA didn't ask for us to register with our XBL emails , they didn't ask if we had an X1.

That an API exists is irrelevant because it's only used when we try to link accounts.

If MS was "lending a hand" in this instance they would have to give EA our email addresses without our explicit permission.

If EA wanted accounts confirmed they could have chose to , like they have with the PC sign up .

Jesus Christ dude, I am saying they should have done it differently, that is all. It could have been done but wasn't. Add a damn gamertag field to the sign up page.

And shitting up the thread? It is 20 something pages of shit. Plus, this is actually the beta application sign up thread. Anything else is OT. I am discussing the actual application. No one else is.

I wouldn't worry too much about getting in - I've played both the PC and Xbone versions and I'm not overly impressed. Whoever says this game looks good, on either platform needs to have their eyes checked. This is a modified source engine, they can only do so much and it tells. This really look like it would suit last gen, and that's the kicker, it can't even get 1080p on xbone. The xbone version looks terrible.

Mechanics are tight, and the game is pretty fun - but this is CoD with mechs, it really is. Which wouldn't be terrible, if they actually did more things differently. They really haven't gone out on a limb with this game and that's the most disappointing thing. They had such a big opportunity to make something REALLY fresh and innovating, but no. I won't even talk about the server issues.

Anyway, I guess I get to save some money.

Peraonally im now sick of this shit. This is my one weekend to try this out! I stayed up until 5 in the morning trying to get in since Respawn decided to cryptically hand out codes whilst telling the rest to just hope. I missed code after code by a few seconds all night long until I could take no more. Im now goint to the EA chat support to more or less demand one.

I understand that Respawn read this thread occasionally. I understand this may even get me banned but whatever. Fuck you very much Respawn. Im completely physically drained today thanks to you treating us all like a bunch of rabid dogs last night. If I do even enjoy the beta if I can get in theres no way im buying it anywhere near launch price after this crap. I have never had to jump though so many hoops for a beta
