Titanfall Beta now taking applications, the thread of begging and whining

What a let down....

No matter, I guess, as long as I get one by tomorrow. Can't play at all today anyway.

Uk here Woke up nothing now it's nearly 1 still nothing.

Just received an email from xbox and got excited but turned out to be some football legend interview haha seriously the wait is annoying.
 
Glad I managed to snag one through a giveaway last night. The emails were void of codes this morning.


Would still like to try the Xbone version for comparison sake but at least I can play it on PC.
 
I wonder if they're actually sending out PC codes in smaller batches because Origin can't handle the load? Doesn't seem like many people have PC codes in general.
 
No key for me either, and I am buying an xbox one this saturday in prep for titanfall so it's little disappointing so far.

Still going to buy the game day 1, fingers crossed for a code today.
 
So I guess the only way to get a PC code is if you are a twitch streamer? I see all the major ones streaming it. Meanwhile I have BF4+Premium as well TF preordered on Origin and no code =\

A couple of my friends got PC codes and they are just regular dudes

Please tell me how this is being handled differently from every other high-profile closed beta?
 
So EA have sent me another code for the Xbone for some reason (I asked for one for the PC originally) and I'm willing to give it away, but this time via a competition. I already have it on the PC now as I did a trade earlier with a kind Gaffer in this thread.

Basically I'll give the code to the person who can make the funniest Titanfall related picture/Gif.

Wow... I just recieved an Xbox One code but I signed up for the PC beta (at least I'm sure I did I don't even have an Xbox One)

Bit of a long shot but if somebody wants to trade it for a PC code just PM me.
 
From the little research on the internet I have done, it really seems like there aren't many pc invites being sent out yet, or maybe im delusional.

Hello there, I'm directing this post to you as I'm concerned about your well being. From your postings it appears that you have developed uncontrollable urges and emotions, the first step is accepting responsibility. It is not Respawn's fault, you made the choice to play along. You made the choice not to sleep. You made the choices that have led to this situation where your mind and body are suffering today and it was over what exactly, a mislabelled demo of a video game?

If anything that anger should be directed inwards towards the part of you that decided it was all a wise idea, refuses to accept the negative consequences which were all your own doing, and then placed the blame on a third party. It's totally up to you but in the short term I'd suggest turning off all electronic communication devices and taking a brief and refreshing sleep. Hopefully that should dispel some of the anger, your account, this forum and your soul will thank you for it. Less rabid dog, more Zen.

Good luck and all the best from a mildly worried human.

Terrible PR leading up to this. It's an open beta, no it's not, it's an open beta, no it's beta, is there a beta, etc, etc. Not a single check in place to prevent e-mail spammers. I've got 26 games on Origin(not counting EA games I own on consoles), I've played every BF game and bought premium for the last two. And yet I get to see codes being giving away to people who've spammed e-mail addresses during the sign-up period.

I don't know about you but other high-profile betas, that I've been paying attention to, had their stuff right. They checked accounts or at least used an confirmation e-mail. Besides I've never seen a company do a 5 day long staggered demo ahum beta before.
 
Still waiting :( This is painful. Not sure why the codes were handled in such a random fashion. Makes me sob a little inside every time I see (1) next to my inbox only for it to be some spam.

It's not a demo despite what you might think, they may be a bit loose with the term beta, but they're testing server load. Also, technically the game is still in beta, it's probably only just been submitted to MS for cert.
 
This is depressing, back home and no emails for Xbox or PC, why do you hate me so much Respawn?, I was good to you! (well not really, but I would be :D).

Need code so bad..
