It was a fairly rubbish final run, but a great start and lots of time spare made a huge difference.

I guess someone needs to tell the royal mail that they need to get their paintpot out again.

The skeleton announcer is fucking great

"Jump over the fence Noelle! Go hug your kids!"

"It's Queen Elizabeth the third!!"

Great silver for Pikus-Pace. Really too bad for Uhlaender, missing bronze by .04 seconds.

2002 we got one gold and one bronze. We haven't done better than this since 1936 (one of each colour!). One more medal, and this gets really serious.

Katie Uhlaender crying on the BBC and gutted because she was four hundredths away from a medal. I feel for her. Amy Williams also tearful at the success of Lizzy Yarnold since they're good friends.

A win by a whole fucking second is a massive difference, especially considering her last run was a poor one.

Assuming you're British, your ladies' Curling team have a pretty solid medal shot. Not sure about any other sports.

It's so weird the way they put everyone up on a podium, announce their names, but don't give them the medals or play anthems til later. I still can't get over it.

It's too bad our alpine skiing and speedskating teams have utterly bombed this Olympics or we'd be running away with the medal count right now.

It kind of blows my mind that no Canadian man has won Olympic gold in figure skating. If Patrick Chan manages to do what Orser, Browning, and Stojko couldn't ... lol.

It blows my mind that the country of Sonja Henie now has a figure skater in the olympics for the first time in 50 years.

Bad luck, choking, or good old questionable judging. Canada`s history jinx of no men`s gold needs to be broken today.
