Titanfall Beta now taking applications, the thread of begging and whining

Cool story! Thanks for letting us know!

No prob. Should be useful information since they seem to be sending out extra codes, so you will have a good shot of getting someone's spare key.

Honestly how many people even own a XB1 at this point? And how many are on xbox live?

Would it have been that bad to just make it an open beta.
If they made it open it would receive less media attention. Now various sites and stores can give away codes, which in turn gives them extra clicks and gives Titanfall more exposure to the general public as everyone will suddenly post about the Titanfall beta. It's a disgusting way to handle a beta.

What I don't understand is why they had everybody rush to sign up on the website then have it be a random draw. Then give out a bunch of codes to people before sending out the emails. Then they gave the people they gave codes to more codes to give out before they gave half the people who signed up theirs. What was the point of signing up?

They don't give a shit, it's about the twitter follows, and stream views and plaguing of social sites. If they were common and easily got no one would care.

Fair enough. Sorry for being a dick. I've been trying to get a code for a few hours and I'm having no luck at all. I don't think I've even come close. And like I said before, I'm snowed/plowed in so I can't even leave my house today. Ugh! Sorry again.

Can I grab your X1 key please?

I didn't get a X1 key.

On my super old EA account, I received one email that had NO key in it. The spot for the key was completely blank.

With my main Origin account, that has over $300 (counting price paid at time at purchase) in games on it, I haven't gotten an email yet at all.

It seems like they have tons of Xbox One keys and that's great but come on EA, get it together.

It's not exactly random. Many XBO and PC codes can be sent based on different factors such as location, internet speed and provider, and PC build.

Yes!!!! i checked my email and got my xbox one titan code :D

i signed up with 2 other emails and if i get the codes ill post them here :D

Anyone not have a response with a new key within that two hour window? I'm giving EA another 30 minutes to appease me before I go get in contact with a live rep.
