Titanfall Beta now taking applications, the thread of begging and whining

I can see the chat option, chat now has a orange backround,which means its available I guess, but still getting error messages when I try to click on that, and I have been trying for 3 hours. What did I do wrong?

Whoops! That wasn't supposed to happen.
We are working on the issue and we should be up and running shortly"

I ve got this everytime I tried.
 
Got a code, the guy literally generated a code on the fly, that's what he told me "Please wait while I generate a code for you". They have no shortage of codes.
 
Still waiting for chat...

And I'm guessing NO ONE is willing to trade a PC key for an Xbox One key.

You got the code from the exchange thing? Can you tell me what your case number was? Just want to see how far off I am from getting mine.
 
I can't even get 600 KB/s when I download something from Steam or anywhere else but I'm currently downloading Titanfall at 5.5 MB/s on Origin right now. What is this sorcery?!
 
Welp, seems like just emailing them (EA) works. Got my account flagged to play. No code, just popped up to download and go. (PC of course)

Good on them trying to please the consumer.

Could you post how to email them? Going through Help and Contact Us through Origin is just taking me back around to where I am now with a greyed-out chat option. :x

The CSR apologized to me for the wait time while adding it to my account. I'm guessing they look at it like if you are going to spend an hour waiting for chat, they are not going to give you a hard time. Now imagine if the people buying these on ebay knew they could be had for free by just asking.
 
Just politely ask them to add the beta to your account.

Seriously how is this even possible? That doesn't make any sense. I sure am glad though!

Thinking back it's probably how I managed to download ME3 on my piece of crap internet back home whereas on steam that download would have never finished... (I know because I tried on a similar sized game lol).

What are you all saying to the support guys?

I said I had an XBox One code and needed a PC code instead. They added it to my Origin account right there, no questions asked.

Others have just straight up asked for the beta and have been given it.

Like the guy above said, I think they figure if you're willing to wait 60 minutes for it, then they might as well hook you up. Costs them nothing and builds massive goodwill.

Sometimes it's just not there, so refresh a million times until it shows up.

Then enjoy a greyed-out Chat Now button for eternity :p
 
Chat method worked!

Came in asking for help on a legit non working code. Game was immediately added to my account.

Now we're talking about titanfall l0l. I should stop, I'm hogging a rep at this point.

Finally got through to 'Rachit' after waiting an hour, he didn't even reply to me. Ignored my messages for a few minutes then I got an e-mail which said

I guess it's just not meant to be :( if anyone has a spare Xbox One code feel free to pass me one over!
 
Accidentally deleted my emailed code on my phone. But it sounds like you don't even have to do that.



Get on Origin dude. Sit out the 60 mins on chat and ask for one. PC or Xbox.

I have been getting this for the last 3 hours, otherwise you wouldnt see me whining here about not getting the key.
