Do you have an unusual dot on the PS3 folding at home map?

I find the PS3 folding at home globe pretty interesting. It is pretty neat to see the (approximate) world-wide distribution of PS3s.

Do any of you represent a dot in a far out of the ordinary place?

My dot (when there) is just one of the many Northern California dots. Probably the onlything unusual about it is that I'm one of the dots closest to the actual source of the folding at home project since I'm about a mile from Stanford.

I was the lone dot in Southwest Ontario for a few months :D There's always a couple of mysterious ones out in places like Antarctica and the middle of the ocean. I would like to know who these people are.

To the above poster/OP, I think a guy in Bermuda has been folding since it came out. Also, a guy in Iceland folds too(which may be the second thing you are refering to). A couple in Africa do as well. I think one used to even fold in North Korea. Kim Jong Ill has a PS3!

I'm sure you can easily see us Canadians with it. When it first came out, I noticed that there was no one in Red Deer save for a guy (or maybe two) who'd have it on occassionally.

I'm sure lately we no longer represent our locality as individuals, as more have caught on.

I was always wondering if those dots really represent PS3s in real time or if it's just a gimmick, so-to-speak.

Real-time picture of PS3s that have returned a WU in the last 5 days.

I wish they included state outlines.

It is pretty cool to look at though. More interactive than Flow at least. :D I like to look at the random parts of the world, like the people folding in Greenland.

BTW I'm one of the few in Taipei.

My friend, who shall remain nameless (SCOTT! Get your butt over here from the O-T, and show thineself!) was taken aback by the dots along the Ivory Coast.

We had Folding running a few weeks early on a couple of Test Kits and early Retail ones, and there were some dots in the -weirdest- locations during pre-release.

Hello Siberia!

Yeah, it's definitely one of the coolest things. There are a suprising number of folders in the Pacific islands. I never thought to look at Antarctica though. That's crazy. NA and Western Europe (haven't used that term in a decade) make up most of the folders on my map. Japan too, of course, but still lots of places on the map that can be filled in still. PEACE.
