It didn't seem like the people who voted Democracy wanted Zapdos. They went into Celadon with Democracy which goes towards Snorlax.

I think it's fair to say the split between democracy/anarchy and snorlax/zapdos are independent of each other.

Keep in mind that's also a common style of naming, especially for something like this where the account is created solely for this stream.I have this strange feeling as if the game is controlled by one person right now in democracy mode. All those stacked up9, left votes have these shady numeric namings. Kind of weird
For example my user name on there is literally my name and two numbers.

I think democracy is needed at some times. Like the maze, safari zone or learning surfer (they did this in democracy?)
But right now I think its stupid. We don't really need zaptos or snorlax to make progress and using the master ball in democracy would just kill the fun of this game. I think democracy is only needed when there is no possibility to continue in anarchy.

Snorlax = Conservative, practical.
Zapdos = forward thinking, liberal, difficult to implement.
Honestly, this dichotomy isn't fair, because Snorlax is clearly the better choice from a progression standpoint, and conservatism isn't always practical and liberalism isn't always forward thinking, but it's fun to think about.

Tempted to make a bunch of TPP posts in the XY miiverse ("use helix" while not really mentioning tpp by name) but I don't really know if I want to risk getting banned for something like that.
I love how the Masterball has created this huge rift in the community. Looking like this will end with the masterball getting used on some common pokemon and it will be glorious.
I keep thinking I'll get bored of checking in on this stream but there just always seems to be something new happening.

Thinking about it, I don't think zapdos would even be possible with democracy.
With anarchy, it seems extremely probable the master ball will be used against a trainer, wild pokemon, or tossed. With democracy, the transition will happen too close to zapdos (otherwise, it would have transitioned back to anarchy first) for people to relearn that the 30+ second lag means you need to vote at least one move ahead.
And even if they DID learn that, at least one start9 vote would pass, causing the chain of commands to mess up anyway, and anarchy would presumably come back before the masterball can be used.

Pokemon is fun, but the only way to have any sense of achievement playing it is to either be 7 or to add difficulty in some other way, like playing competitively, or doing a Nuzlocke challenge or something. Or playing it at the same time as hundreds of other people.

The side exit from Zapdos' room exists in all versions of the game including this one. There's a door leading out from his room. So, power plant is trivial to leave.
The ledge is not a real obstacle headed the to-cerulean direction so rock tunnel doesn't have to be done on the way back to the outside world.

This would both suck and be awesome at the same time. After all that work it would be a huge disappointment, but the memes would be incredible. Bonus points if the Master Ball is tossed right after that happens.
