It looks awful. Pretty good example of how shitty their human figures look now. They need to hire better sculptors/designers.

Man. I missed a b/b Elin on amiami for 10,380. Cheapest I've seen for a long time.
If it was damaged or missing parts they would say so. Go for it, Mandarake is trustworthy.
"Box Little Damage" means there's probably some tiny crease on the box that's barely noticeable. Usually when figs have damage on Mandarake there is a photo of the specific damage. My experience has been if they don't say anything that means the figure is in "like new" condition.

Fig in stock is nice, but what we really need is a service that automatically orders pre-owned figs set on price/condition limits. We'd all be in the poor house then.

I own this exact figure and got it off of Mandarake as well. You'll be fine, I doubt anything is missing and box damage usually is just a bent corner.
The figure is freaking awesome, btw.

I'm debating whether to go with regular SAL shipping for Villetta, or just EMS her. She doesn't seem exceptionally large, since SAL is only about 1.6k. But considering how pricey she was, I might just wanna go with EMS. What say you guys?
I just look at the price differences usually when I pay for AmiAmi.
I never take chances unless it's something I can wait for/ isn't that valuable, like the Saint Seya temple ruins or the gunpla I ordered a couple weeks ago. EMS4LYFE
A yen saved is a yen that can go towards more figures. If it's a huge difference between EMS and SAL, and you can wait it out, I think you should just go SAL.
I ordered my first figure with SAL on Monday or so. How long does it usually take for the US?
2-3 weeks is normal, but it can be as little as 10 days and as much as a month.
I just paid for my AmiAmi order. $100 shipping, ugh. It probably looks vastly different to everyone else's February, though, considering the only two figures I had were the Kotobukiya Yugioh re-releases of Kaiba and Yami.

yep, doesn't take that long. Just don't choose ship SAL by accident. That can take 2 fucking months. Always pick Airmail SAL.

Mamitan's identity has never been a secret. She's the girl that ran howagirlfigures.com and has hosted panels at AnimeExpo and such, and is a US employee of GSC. She's not in the video.
But yeah, GSC's international efforts are pretty great. Kotobukiya feeds out a lot of info too via Facebook.

I always knew this would be a possibility as soon as I saw the art for all the classes. Hopefully they will continue the series and I can grab the rest.

...Yep, that's about it. Nice figure, though. If March weren't so expensive, I would have been tempted myself.
If the difference is massive, go SAL. However, if it's only a few dollars, definitely go EMS. Like you said, she is a valuable figure, so having her arrive quickly and/or safely is a pretty big concern. I haven't had an issue with SAL yet, though that might have to do with myself using EMS 90% of the time.
From the side, the nipples definitely do look a bit strange, but I'm still purchasing her with 100% certainty. I just cannot ignore Miwa Shirou's artstyle.
I'm fully confident that the end-result will be incredible, as has been the case for all of the current 7th Dragon 2020 figures.

Anyone ever have their figures get stuck in US customs? Got a couple that have been sitting for about 20 days now. USPS says there's nothing they can do since it's being held.

The only thing I don't like about her is that I can't unsee the shape of her head under that hair. It reminds me of those giant-headed fetuses in formaldehyde jars.

Yeah, the box she's packed in probably won't be huge, so I'd like her as soon as possible unless the EMS cost is insane. I mean, when I ordered a pre-owned Selvaria, the difference between EMS and SAL was lol-worthy. It was only a few hundred yen more for EMS.
Yeah that's sal parcel. It sucks. Accidentally ordered Maou that way. Worst of both worlds. As slow as SAL small packet and as expensive as EMS.

So it looks like Miku is nearing completion.... but what the fuck happened to her hair? 
Missed a delivery from FedEx when I was inside the damn house. Did not hear a doorbell ring or anything. They left a door tag saying that if I sign it they'll leave it there (though it also says they won't be responsible for theft or damage to package). Should I just go ahead and give them the 'ok' to leave it?

Cell phone pics aren't usually that great, I agree. But even taking a pic with a cell wouldn't cause her hair to be arranged in a completely different way from the prototype. That left pig-tail is fucked up. Now I'd already assumed they were having issues with the hair, given the delays. But if they think that I'm going to buy it looking like that, they have another thing coming.
