I spent 25k on two figures in as many days. You can buy her and still tell yourself that you're less irresponsible than me. DOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIIIT. 5k is like a drop in the bucket compared to what I spent.

That's why I'm hesitant. I'll be finishing the Seven Deadly Sins line shortly [only one more to pre-order], so I really don't want to "commit" myself to another line of figures, especially one as diverse as KanColle.
But then, I do have the Shimakaze Figma pre-ordered, so a scaled figured would be nice to display alongside her...

My hat off to you. Only ones I want out of the Seven Deadly Sins line up is Mammon (Pre ordered), Asmodeus, Lucifer, and Satan (pre ordered). No idea where I'm gonna come up with the money for Asmodeus though. Looking at her on N-Y she's basically $300 not including the shipping. Ugggggh!

I've thought about it a few times, but I can't justify the price vs. how big they are.
Yeah, being the first in a popular line [and an exclusive, no less] makes her difficult to come by. I was lucky in that I started right from the beginning, but even her price via a proxy wasn't exactly "cheap" [but it was a lot less than the usual asking price of $250+ for her these days]. She has a few issues, namely rust on the chain in some cases, but she's a beautiful figure other than that. It's easily fixed, either by cleaning it or getting a replacement chain, and the actual figure itself is flawless. I commend you on collecting the rest of the Seven Deadly Sins, though. They're among the favorite of my collection, for sure.
I wish you luck in tracking down a [reasonably-priced] Asmodeus. Should I see anything, I will let you know.

Perhaps I should reconsider getting the Strong World version of Robin over SA in light of this new information....
Fire emblem was that popular, also the fig looks really nice and the price seems not at all bad.
Tharja wasn't even my favorite gal in FEA but I'll take what I can get. They were pretty much all good.

I was like that for a long time too. But then the character started to grow on me after hating her for so long. And yes fire emblem was extremely popular when it released, especially on gaf.
Thanks, I would really appreciate it! I was on MFC reading up on her and I guess there was a freak mishap where some guy got one with two left hands? That is crazy. Think I'm gonna hold off on impulse buying so I can save up the money to get her because as you said she looks absolutely amazing.

Ya she isn't my favorite (Cordelia <3, better believe I will preorder that figure) but I just really like Fire Emblem. Tharja is a good character and the figure is gorgeous, especially her robe and well lets not beat around the bush...the pose is awesome.

Love her as a character, love the detail level of the figure, but don't love her character design. I just think far better designs came out from the same game. Also, that belt thing gets in the way of showing off dat ass, though she's showing it off way too much for my taste in the first place.

I caved on the figure after reading more impressions on B/C combos on used items. Can't pass it up. It is the Alter Yui figure from K-On, had my eyes on it already. Also snagged a Oremio nendo.

- Scaled Nintendo figures are rare.
- Tharja was a good character in the game, her conversations were absolutely hilarious.
- She was my waifu in the game.
- She is hot.
- It's being made by Max Factory, who's the top figure company, so you know she'll come out well.
- It's being sculpted by Shining Wizard, who's one of the best sculptors in the business, and my personal favorite.
- The details are amazing, just look at the drape on her cloak

I just set up my own first Vittsjo and I love it. (pictures a few pages back, same with Johnsmith). Planning to get a couple more.
They are definitely a better value and and have more storage compared to a detolf.
Vittsjo Width: 39 3/8 " vs Detolf Width: 16 3/4 "
Even if you put 2 detolfs side by side, the Vittsjo would win.
They're really easy to put together too. I had no problems building them by myself. I've heard the detolfs are a pain in the ass.
The main disadvantages vs a detolf is more dust because they aren't enclosed (not a huge deal for me) and you can't elevate them to get a better view of the bottom shelf. I'm not a fan of the enclosed glass look though, so buying these was a no brainer for me.

Nice, I might get two of these and call it a day on display buying. I already have 3 detolfs and they're just getting harder and harder to find.
You're a good one, I would have snapped by now. I'm usually calm and don't anger quickly, but you don't fuck with people's money.

Be careful about the k-on alter figures. they're great quality sculpts but the weight and peg design makes it easy to break the peg. Especially on Mio and Azusa

Fire Emblem was never that popular until Awakening. That being said she was one of the better characters in that game. Sadly, I'll probably never get figures of earlier FE titles despite them being much better. That ship might have already sailed...

Thanks for the tip. I like the Azusa but noticed that it looked like it might topple over a lot or like you said break. Not much of a fan of her face anyways, doesn't look that much like her. I liked the Yui a lot so I am glad I was able to snag it.
