Okay here's the final stats of our Pokemon including EV's and IV's

Not 100%, but seeing as Gen II gender is calculated by the attack stat (high attack = male, low attack = female, especially lame for anyone wanting a female starter as it has to have 0 or 1 in attack. Gen II gender was pretty sexist), everyone is male apart from Lapras, and Zapdos who is genderless but would have been female if not.

Amazing. I got Gastly back to find him at level 50 and easily affordable to get out of the daycare. Less than 3,000 I think. Just think how much easier it would have been if we ditched Lapras for him.

Not worth a PC risk. Also considering how quickly we beat the game the amount of time it would take to deposit a Pokemon, go to Daycare and traverse the ledges, get Rick, and go back would not have been worth any boost Ghastly would give to the team over Air even if we did the PC stuff flawlessly.

Wow those are shockingly bad. IVs went up to 31 in gen 1, right?

Lapras really was garbage. Didn't deserve his spot in the hall of fame. The two birds had the best IVs, but they were the best of a terrible bunch.

In the end bad stats were just another obstacle to be overcome

EDIT: Ah, they only went up to 15. In that case Nidoking was a beast, and Zapdos was good too. My mistake.

I actually didn't really know about it either. Just looked into it now because someone posted that someone on reddit said ours were pretty poor so I thought I'd find out and take screenshots for everyone. It's interesting to look into.

You can tell by the IVs, which were posted earlier: Lapras is female, Zapdos is genderless, everything else in our party is male. Nothing is shiny.

The pieces of the puzzle all fall together nicely if we view it as such. After breaking free by defeating the elite 4, Red fled to the caves, where his voice echoing gave him comfort. It was if the voices were all back.

Well it has recover (enemies had infinite PP I think too), and due to having such high stats, it's hard to do anything lasting. Best bet is to either disable recover, or put him to sleep/freeze him so you can hit him without him healing.
