Regarding the music game talk, is there any online store where I can buy DjMax Technika Tune? (European here, so I can't buy the game on the NA store)

Nippon-Yasan has the japanese version for 37€ but I'm wondering if it's available cheaper somewhere.

Figured I would ask here and hopefully someone can answer. I'm considering buying the PSP version of the original Puzzle Quest as I was a big fan of the game, and am wanting to spend some time with it again. Is there anything that would make the PSP version a no go?

There is a bug: http://www.qj.net/qjnet/psp/psp-version-of-puzzle-quest-challenge-of-the-warlords-ability-bug.html

Puzzle Quest 2 was going to get ported to PSP but that got canceled due to audio issues.

I just went down the list of order links in the old OT, no luck =/

wtf man. You got my hopes up for nothing. I would seriously buy an Attack on Titan game at full price and maybe import it if it never gets localized.

Oh well. I heard there's one on the 3DS.

You're gonna miss out on a lot of stuff man. Imagine if a game like Ace Attorney which only released as DD only would be on PSN. Besides, doesn't PDf have a physical copy?

I really do want to play AA5:DD. But I am not going to pay $40, SPECIFICALLY because it's an Eshop only game. Nintendo are the worst when it comes to digital titles, unless it goes on sale, I aint paying max over $20 for a digital product.

You've bought some games during sales, right? Like me, you may Vita when it's cheaper xD

That's probably the only reason, PSN sales have been very generous especially for PS+ members, otherwise I just buy retail.

I love how "tolerate" is the best you can do for Miku's music.

I'll stick with Lumines or Runner2 for a Vita music game.......

It's obvious, Miku is a typical Japanese product, you should like Japanese songs, or to be more precise Japanese Vocaloid songs, to really appreciate it, but even i liked the Japanese demo, and i suck at this kind of games and i'm not into J-pop and Vocaloids.
It can be probably considered an AAA music game.

colors are incredible on Vita, the part with them on trucks or the one with confetti are really impressive to see.

If it does go on sale, give it a try especially if you're a rhythm game fan. I heard there's going to be a demo on the Vita so give it a whirl if it's your cup of tea.

You don't need to. PSO2 is a free download on the JPSN store.
Sorry, I didn't arrange my post more specifically. I meant a native Attack on Titan game on the Vita.

You are part of the reason why we can't have nice things.

It's never been $40, and I'm pretty sure it has been on sale for $20 or thereabouts before.

I would not count on a sale for Project DIVA though. Niche games generally don't get sales and it's already discounted more than Miku's handlers are probably comfortable with as is. The PS3 version has been out for 7 months (at a higher price point than the Vita version) and has not been discounted even once in that time.

Technically Pentavision hasn't existed as an independent entity for a few years now; Neowiz bought them some time ago, and they clearly have different priorities. Neowiz still has all the rights to the DJMAX franchise.

The download of the Yakuza Ishin companion app is finally finished(2.7gb...), later i'll try it.

I downloaded that last night. It's really impressive for a companion app. So much so that I have to imagine Vita's getting a full Yakuza game.

I was interested in that game until everyone who played the beta said it wasn't good. Hope they could fix the problems people had, the beta was quite some time ago.

I had fun with it, but most of the complaints are definitely true. If you haven't, check out BlueMaxima's footage of the Vita beta or even some footage of the Steam early-access version on YouTube to get a good idea of how the game looks and plays.

Is it possible to get a sense of speed in an open space game? One bit looks very much like another.

Will wait to see what impressions are, but I like the idea of that kind of game on the Vita.
I like the idea of every game on the Vita

I think that's one of the reasons why I can more easily overlook the flaws of the beta is because it's a handheld "space sim" (quotes because apparently it's not quite one according to Escape Hatch Entertainment for some reason). If I was playing it constantly on PC, I'd probably be more critical.

It definitely didn't feel good. The sense of speed was missing so the action felt dull. I want to swoosh and bang bang boom. I only felt zzzzzz.

One of the things I noticed in the Vita beta was that all of the particles were present from the Steam early-access version, but they were all "duller". Speed lines and space dust were barely distinguishable from the background. Maybe if they were clearer, that would help?

DJ Max will definitely not be the same without Pentavision. I hope Neowiz can find a suitable replacement.

I haven't tried it on the PC yet but if it features a greater sense of speed, I may bite or if the game on the Vita is improved I'll buy it there.

omg.... I can't decide if I want it now or later. dammit buying this would seriously put a dent on my FFX/X-2 HD funds...

question. Is this native res or not?

Yeah, i don't even need to try it to know that it's better and meatier than many other apps(and maybe games?).
I like to think that while they are at it developers will reuse the engine and the assets for a Yakuza game, but i would not be so sure, and even if they make a Yakuza Vita game will someone localize it? :\

Seriously? When I see Takao making a comment that follows Hype + Spoiler structure I know I have to set the bar like really low lol.

Wow. I haven't even played that game but that is some crazy shit. Thumbs up to that guy who was willing to play this game so many hours to master the game. Wow.

I got the Japanese version of DJMax Technika Tune and it is quite import friendly, and if you need it, you can get the English manual on internet.

The store gradually gets updated throughout the day. The official update time (when the PS Blog post goes up) is 5 PM EST/2 PM PST. It's been that way for a few months now.

It is silly that the digital store updates later than you could go to a store and buy a physical copy. Should be midnight ideally, or no later than 9am ESTATE. Same goes for Europe too - I have to wait around for an engineer to replace my TiVo (sniff, bye bye community season 4) so I wanted to play dead nation but it won't be up until the afternoon.

That's the extreme difficulty level, you can choose between various difficulty levels.

It is? What's the catch, subscription fee? I know I need to make a Japanese PSN and have a separate memory card for vita, but I already have a card I'm not using from when I upgraded.
I remember I had to make a Japanese Sega account, which was a bit annoying and time-consuming. There isn't really a catch beyond that though.

Okay, okay, I did have a surprising amount of fun with that Miku demo.

Yeah, the demo is pretty good. That said, I ain't paying £36 for the PS3 version, and I wouldn't be too surprised if they decide to charge £30 for the Vita version + £7 for the extra songs DLC.
