Twitch Plays Pokemon Thread 3: Return of Red... Aussies win again!

Crude, but funny.

This will take forever

I remember as a kid playing around with Metronome in low risk situations just to see what kind of moves came out of it. Hope Togepi sticks around a bit longer just for that little extra element of unpredictability.

We used Sacred Fire on a Haunter? Lol that's awesome. Was it Morty's? Apparently so not

It was. It was after a very weakened team from the gym trainers had been whittled down to just Omelette and Eevee from his Curse attacks. The burn from it almost took the Haunter out, too (it suicided with curse)

If we still had Bite on Croc then Morty would be much easier. The other option I can think of is to make sure Eevee won't evolve (pfft easy) and level it up so that its bite is strong enough to take down Morty's pokemon in 1-2 hits. With eevee the only problem is curse as the rest of the attacks shouldn't effect it (Plus the annoying Gengar he has with Hypnosis)

We still haven't used that Mud Slap TM...

Why is right9down3right9down3 winning? what the hell?

Edit: Welp, another hour of anarchy. Looks like the new anarchy/democracy system is backfiring in the opposite direction too.

It was to allow them to set up. If they start from the bottom right, they will know where to go from there with the sequence of commands.

It had more than that, it was the thing that made them reach the lady in the middle.

The idea was to get him into the bottom right corner no matter where he started in the gym, and then the rest of the pattern is supposed to get him through the maze.

Someone miscalculated though, and went a little too far halfway through.

Why does "Democracy" only last, like, one minute?

People voted anarchy, which had more votes than any other command. Happens when people don't know what to do, since the votes for commands are spread out thinly.

Because the system is currently heavily biased towards anarchy.

Now, democracy only comes once an hour. And anarchy is still a vote option. If anarchy wins any vote, back to it we go until the clock reaches the end of an hour again.
Essentially, you have to pray that there is enough of consensus between every other choice to get more votes than anarchy, every single time, or its back to anarchy.

What would be a fair way to get Anarchy back? 30% of the votes need to be Anarchy? Or something like that, otherwise even when Democracy is being used for a legitimate reason, it will just go back to Anarchy.

Not a horrible idea. Maybe there could be a separate bar tracking the percentage of them being anarchy, and the vote otherwise goes as normal. If anarchy is voted in by 30% or more, then the top vote for movement plays out and it immediately switches back to anarchy.
