Well my mailman here is awesome, I was leaving work to get some food and he recognized my car (he has been our driver for over 5 years). He flashed his lights and I pulled over, he recognized the name and the EMSJapan notice and wanted to catch me. Gonna have to find a way to leave some feedback for him. Above and beyond!
I am one of the artists here so I can just claim it is for reference work lol...regardless this is a family kind of atmosphere so they don't care what I get delivered here. I get all my stuff from Amazon delivered here as well.
Doesn't need to be vulgar to be pervy, the whole voyeurism angle on the ones you otherwise wouldn't consider pervy kinda evokes those vibes by default (and by voyeurism I mean conveniently placed legs or poses to get a view of certain bits). Sexy and pervy can go hand in hand.

Hi all! Not much of a figure person myself (I'm pretty active in the Lego thread though). Went by Islands of Adventure this past weekend and saw the Hot Toys Hulk, Mandarin and Tony Stark Mechanic figures... Like Lego, I can tell I'm on a slippery slope if I order one of those figures.
It's only downhill from there.

I started with one cheaper figure a few weeks ago and I now own 4 figures and have a lot more on the way.

I used to hang around the Lego thread a lot, but I found myself wanting to buy every set, so I had to excuse myself from the thread. Now I come here and find myself wanting to load up on figures. Granted, I already bought a lot more figures than Lego before, but I find myself constantly wanting more. I have my eye on the Hot Toys Iron Man Mark XXXIX, but man is it expensive. Slippery slope is slippery.
Speaking of which, is the Max Factory Other M Zero Suit Samus worth it? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on that and the Psylocke Bishoujo. And I still can't decide on whether I want to get the Power Rangers Figuarts.
Yeah Zero Suit Samus is a great figure. Lots of us bought it and I haven't heard any complaints. The new Psylocke bishoujo is really good too.

On the subject of figures, my "Limied" Mugiwara Ver. of Nami arrived from N-Y today. Aside from my monthly order from AmiAmi, which will likely kill me unless something items are delayed [it's sitting at 70,000+ yen...], that's all I have for figures for the month. A few games here and there [Dark Souls II LE, Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster LE, Witch and the Hundred Knight LE, BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma LE], but nothing too expensive.
I need to prepare for the end of March...

I don't really consider Tharja pervy at all, more pin-up or something you might find on a magazine cover.
Perhaps my tolerance is simply higher than most, but I don't find many figures "perverted" anymore. Even stuff from Native, such as Cat Lap Milk, don't phase me anymore. I won't display my figures cast-off, though, so I try to keep things as tasteful as they can be.
Well, unless you mention stuff from Giga Pulse. Those...I have a problem with.

Yeah March will be a crazy month, I'm tempted to get a PS4 Second Son bundle but delaying the purchase for now/hope I get it as a Bday present in July. But going have quite a number of games out this month, even importing J-Star Victory Vs so yeah no PS4 for a while XD.
But including games there are quite a number of figures that are out by the end of March...need to brace for the wallet assault XD.
I like to give a heads up to newer Figure GAFers that if those are pervy figures...
There are just some figures you see and you'll no longer find the quotes figures pervy...

How are people getting into the English AmiAmi site? All I get is a page covered in FileMaker error messages. The j-site works fine, but the English is borked for me.
It seems as though there's an error in the English border graphic or something. The top part of the website is messed up for me, but the site functions as normal [just need to scroll down a bit].

English site works for me but the formatting is all sorts of messed up.

Kotobukiya Street Fighter Bishoujo Statue Chun-Li arrived today. Took way too long from Koto USA. I don't know if I'm going to go with them again; Amazon had this figure in stock back in January, and it would have been cheaper for me to get from a seller there.

The Bishoujos are just about all I buy now, with a few exceptions here and there. I don't have the room for these figures anymore and am moving into an even smaller place in a few weeks. Most of the figures I've bought over the years are all boxed up and stuffed in my closet now. At one point I had a whole room to nerd out over, but I can't do that anymore. It looks too tacky having a bunch of half-naked anime and game toys in your living room.
But I'll keep on buying Bishoujos as long as they keep making them, plus I know I'll end up with one or two Kill La Kill toys. It really depends on the angle. I think the figure overall could have been better, but Chun's my favorite Street Fighter character and this was bought. What I really want is the Kinu Nishimura Girls Fighting Chun, but that used goes for way too much. I have the Cammy and Sakura and really want to complete that set.

Do any of you have any recommendations for figure stands? My Mass Effect Legion and Miranda figures always fall over and I'd like to find a stand that will support them but not be too intrusive. It seems as though the included base's pegs don't properly support the figures, so I was thinking of getting something that will clip to their waists.
D-arts stands. Though sold out at the moment. Amazon usually sells them.
