Looks boring and like any other shooter to me, except it has mechs. Woo big deal, no single player campaign = no thanks. People don't have get carried away. Looks phenomenal, amazing etc etc. It 'looks' average. I think people are getting far too hyped for this game. There is going to be a lot of disappointment on launch day. It's not THAT good. It's hardly a game changer. Think people need to calm down a bit. Everyone seems to think this game is the next best thing, but based on what? 25 mins play time? We know nothing about the content (or lack of it from what I can tell). So far, based on what we do know, there is no way this game is worth £50 in the UK. What my advise would be is to wait and see, rather than building this up as the next big thing (which all sounds like desperation that it is, rather than being sure about the fact). The amount people stick up for this game, considering how little we know is amazing. I just find it fascinating that when I mention the campaign could be lacking i'm told, well that's only what was mined, yet people are using this same mined information to get really hype on maps + everything else. Who do you know all the mined content will be on the disc? It could be DLC for all we know. We know nothing and generally that means something fishy is going on. I played every day from the Thursday when I got the code until the beta closed. But just giving my opinion. I know people will stick up for it, since it's some sort of second coming it seems. But please tell me what is so special about it, cause other than it being a bit more faster paced than cod, I don't see it. It's so fast paced, frenetic and I DON'T like it. I'm sorry to go against the grain but it's really not for me. The map in the beta feels too claustrophobic and the textures are pretty poor. I'm not really a big shooter fan, but I think Call of Duty provides more the experience that I like. What I would say from a negative point of view is that I just don't see any longevity in this game, maybe I'm wrong. Sorry to be down on it, but like I say, I'm sure mega-shooter fans will love it.
On the other hand he says:
The gameplay looks great fun. Sure it's great fun, I can see why everyone will love it, it's not a bad game at all and I'm sure it'll sell very well.
Mmmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmm.... very unbiased assessment of the game. To think we all thought you didn't like this game is silly of us. We can clearly see you think the game is great fun and will sell well.... mmmmmmm hmmmmmmm
