Yeah also got the artbook on deck along with Mystique, nice set for March.
That's actually one of my favorite images by him too. I'm surprised his work doesn't see more figure treatment honestly, which is a damn shame. It seems like the women I'd love to have figures of can never exist either lol.

It's an illustrated book with lots of text, in manga size. And it is quite serious (apart from the illustrations of course). The structure of the US Army is described, along with specific parts/units/divisions. Each squadron/division has an illustration, text, sometimes actual photos, sometimes maps/plans etc. Kinda bummed I can't read japanese, but not regretting this at all. Can't post pics though :(

Can't wait for the Russian version, especially given the current situation in Crimea.

Edit : Omg, there's some operations from Afghanistan and Bin Laden's compound raid...The talibans are nekos with turbans lmao. Didn't expect it, but the Navy Seals take the 1st place in lewdness.

Really a shame this is japanese only, I ordered it nevertheless, another good reason to learn the language, even if it is only the text.

See, the MH figures are dangerous for me since it's a series I really enjoy. I'm honestly taking a gamble by holding off on them, but I don't think my wallet will ever forgive me if I go all in and they end up going beyond the Generation of Miracles. I have friends planning on buying the Free! Alters so I'll see how they look in person before I take the plunge on those, though again that's probably a gamble due to the popularity of the series. But yeah for Kuroko, I'm a big fan of dynamic poses for figures in general and honestly it's even more of a rarity since they are male figures, which historically have had some bland posing for static figures.

Sports section sounds like a good idea at the rate these are coming out. haha

Detolfs if you have dust/dog/paranoia issues, the Vittsjos otherwise, as they are cheaper, probably easier to move, and seem to have more usable space.
 
Question for you guys. One of my used figures (a Nendoroid) was covered in some kind of oiley product. It was all of the pieces, if I used a cloth it seemed to go away with no issues.

Did some searching and it sounds like some kinda plasticiser, does this sound like the case? Kinda freaked me out at first, especially with it being a used figure but I read that it can happen to new ones as well? Is this common?
 
Yea, that greasy stuff is gross but wiping with a wet paper tower will clean it up.

I think it happens from moisture that was captured in the packaging.

Man some article I read talked about it and they recommended putting your figures in the freezer for 20 minutes...what? lol

What kind of upkeep do you all like to do with your figures? Just dusting from time to time? So far I have been using this

Just remember, never buy used real dolls. That sticky stuff is NOT plastciser.

Hey, since March is so depressing, let's talk about April! What do you guys have coming next month? Mine isn't too bad, I've just got the new bishoujos - Mara Jade and Armored Wonder Woman. And also Kotobukiya's Shinobu. I thought about canceling the latter since I'm getting the GSC reissue, but I can't say no to that sly-looking alternate face she has. She's so adorable. And you know, moe-fang.

How do you see what you have scheduled for the month on AmiAmi?
When I make a purchase they show me this, but from the account menu I don't see it. Combine monthly gets you something close, but it's missing a few that can't be combined for me. Order history sorts by date ordered, not release date.

Order history is the way to go. If you enter a date range long enough, you'll get everything you're curious about. I enter January 1, 2013 to whatever the current date is, since that will bring up all of my orders.

Yeah, we don't know that for sure yet, at least as far as Tharja is concerned. XD

Nah, I really want Tharja. But I feel that Miku2020 needs another delay. I don't think you can chalk everything we just saw the other week up to bad pics. Especially with the new pics of Psychic that were taken in the exact same spot, and she looks great.

Yeah, I couldn't possibly. She sold out extremely fast when pre-orders opened. I was lucky to get one from HLJ before they stopped taking orders, too.
