It's still a prize figure. That's all that company makes. You can see the giant A on the box? That's because it's an A rank prize. Prize figures aren't bad though. I have a few, and they're pretty damn good quality for how much you can get them for.

Ahh gotcha, the other little one I have isn't bad might jump on this.

Yeah, some aren't bad when they're only around 1,000 yen, but when I see some rarer ones of for 4,000 or more, no way are they worth that.

Fuuuuucking fuck fuck fuckerduck. I was dusting out my detolfs today - dusting figures, windex, the whole deal- and when I was dusting Kongiku's feet, the lantern just dropped right out of her hand in pieces. As it turns out, the glue holding the top of the lantern (the slightly dome-shaped thing) decided to wear away, so there was nothing holding it on. I re-glued it, so hopefully that'll hold. Other catastrophes include Max Factory Etna's tail deciding not to stay in anymore. It was tough to get to stay in in the first place, with a tiny slot up her skirt (not THAT one, there's another....not THAT one, either) but you can't wedge the tail in there at all anymore. Other than that, mission complete.

I'm going to run down to IKEA tomorrow for that billy I wanted to get. After discovering what a pain in the ass detolfs are to clean, the bookcase is the obvious choice. If it works well, I may get another billy down the line and reserve detolfs for the bigger stuff. I know Olivia is going to need a shelf all to herself.

She's sitting on my desk. As much as she cost, I want to be able to look at her all the time.

Here's what I said when I got her.

So, overall she looks great. She's a good size, and the face is beautiful. But she's also overpriced. The paint quality just does not match what the best Japanese figure makes can do. Max Factory could make this same figure in pvc, and it would cost half as much, and the paint would be better. She just looks sloppy on the details. If Japan hated Junko, they would loathe this even more.

I don't regret getting her, but I definitely will not be making a habit of buying from Sideshow (or any other non-Japanese) statues again. You're paying for size and the polystone. But PVC for life.

So I've been wanting a specific figure from Samurai Spirits Zen, namely of Suzuhime [maybe NSFW?]. I absolutely love the design, and it's both sexy as well as elegant. Unfortunately, she was released in 2009, so seeing her around [especially new/sealed] is rare. Very rare.

Well I just saw that she was available on Mandarake for 10,000 yen, WITH the bonus items. Considered she retailed at 8800 yen back then, and usually goes for 12,000+ yen [even without the bonus items, sometimes] this was a great deal. So, despite my March being brutal, I hit the "Add to Cart" button. ~_~

I need to stay away from that site.

I think you already have the best two from the line. While the rest of the line is great i felt all the other pieces have something that I didnt like about them. Christie and Jun on the other hand came out so well. Kotos bishoujo are such good bang for the buck when I think about it

Alisa seems to be getting scarce. AmiAmi is sold out. I got her from HLJ for 6.4k, but I stuffed her in the private warehouse, as I have the new Kotobukiya Shinobu shipping from them next month anyway.

As for Lili, meh. I liked playing her in Street Fighter x Tekken, but the bangs on the figure are beastly.
