rymdkapsel is the best PSM game, hands down. Lemmings, Super Crate Box, Aqua Kitty, Passing Time and Tokyo Jungle are good. Surge was also nice but the loading times got long and there is a native Vita version now.

Cytus Lambda is okay. Not a fan of the mechanics but it's still a rhythm game fix.

Just twitch chat being twitch chat. Making fun of the streamer because the streamer is from the middle east.

Oh so it's out over here? I'm getting the digital ver. since it'd be cheaper (PS3 ver.)
Do we know how big it is?

Next on my backlog:
Finish up Mass Effect 1 after LoS2 so I can free up some space for another game.

I think Most Wanted is way better than Rivals and I played MW on the Vita whereas I played Rivals on the PS4.
I probably would have liked NFSMW a lot more if I didn't play it on the Vita. The game was fun, but there were many technical issues in the Vita port that I was unable to ignore. The tiny text made it annoying for me to navigate through the menus, and the sub-native resolution made the whole game look like a blurry mess. There aren't many games on the Vita that looks worse in my experience. After getting Rivals on the PS4, I never touched NFSMW Vita again.

That last race in Rivals was actually one of my least favorite parts of the game, lol.

No need to be so antagonistic about it.
Don't take it personally, it wasn't directed at you specifically. I've just seen many people mentioning the May release date that was never confirmed.

rymdkapsel is the only PSM game I've ever enjoyed, and I got that for free too.

I quite enjoyed Life of Pixel (after the patch), Out of Mind, Rebel, Aqua Kitty, Night Riders 3D, Alien Breed, Magic Planet Snack Deluxe, Tokyo Jungle Mobile, and the two Miko Gakkou games (first one is a visual novel, second one's a bullet hell rhythm game).

Probably some other stuff, I've lost track of how many PSM games I have at this point.

As VanWinkle already mentioned, everything you did in Rivals boiled down to a hot pursuit which got annoying fast. I also like the exploration in open world games and Most Wanted's city has much more to offer whereas the city in Rivals seems barebones.

And while the idea of always playing online in Rivals was cool, there wasn't any actual multiplayer mode. Getting others to race you was near impossible as everyone was busy doing their stuff. The only interaction was fucking someone over because you wanted to be a jackass or you played as a cop. In my opinion, the cop campaign is totally boring and sometimes Alldrive is too overpopulated with cops. The Alldrive system itself sucked because they didn't use dedicated servers so you can get shuffled around often when you are right in a race.
Even though the MW multiplayer wasn't perfect, I like it a lot more.

The last hot pursuit of the racer campaign in Rivals was really thrilling though.

Completely agree. I just sold my PS4 copy of Rivals this weekend, didn't have any more patience for that game.

I'd also add that the upgrade system for cars is completely broken (though you can fix it by giving EA $10 in DLC, so that's intentional) and the presentation is incredibly obnoxious, from the music to the "story mode" I just disliked all of it.

I'd recommend Most Wanted over it any day.

Puppeteer is good fun, got through act 2 curtain 2 today. The whole head gimmick isnt as good especially when trying to go for the secrets and bonus rounds but eh core mechanics are well done. And the boss fights have been varied enough and a right level of challenge to them. I only wish people would talk less, the cutscenes take too long for my own taste.

Of the over 150 PSM games that I own, I would say 80% of them are trash. =\

Aqua Kitty, Ten by Eight, UFO Dad, Yu-nama, TJ Mobile, Adventure Bar Labyrinth, Switch Galaxy, Passing Time

Those are all worth owning.

Puppeteer was mind blowingly amazing. I like it more than Tearaway. I enjoyed the gameplay a lot and the presentation is fantastic. I agree the head gimmick is kinda crappy. Mechanically it's really just a less frequent and slightly different take on Sonic's rings. And using certain heads for finding secrets is crappy because there's no way of knowing which heads you'll need to keep hold of before you reach certain sections. Boss fights are really good and generally get better as you go on. I disagree with your cutscene and talking complaint though. I found them so entertaining that I didn't mind it when the cutscenes lasted so long. I can see why it would bother you though.

im courious about Rebel i should buy it probably. I like PSM games , there are a lot of crappy games there but if you search you can find some nice titles. Shuttle Quest 2000 is something nice too i didnt mention that. earlier

Enjoying Strider demo on the PS4 how is the rest of the game?

It's my GotY contender. The game overall is really good, def. get it.
Normal is good difficulty but for a challenge, try the Hard difficulty. Boss fights are the best part of the game IMO

Ditto for GOTY contender like Tizoc said... it's my Blood Dragon x Mark of the Ninja for 2014.

Best character control this side of Strider 2, Symphony of the Night and Dust: An Elysian Tail... environments could use a little more color and variety, and enemies take awhile to spice up (could've taken notes from something like Contra: Shattered Soldier imo), but the level design is remarkable imo just for the fact it so easily accommodates the acrobatic agility and speed of the main character, but is still interconnected & contextually believable. It can drag when you try to go find everything, but if you've got old school bones in your body, you'll probably dig it.

Alright time to find $15 of change around the house to buy Strider, needed something else to play while I wait for Infamous.

Maybe if I was in the mood for it, I would enjoy it more. I can appreciate the quality of the scenes but for a platformer it just isn't what I expect or want. If not for the quality of the work I would skip them so I can get back to playing more but it is done well enough that I do want to know what happens next.

Ah may I make a suggestion?
Can you wait til Wednesday?
US PSN will have an offer where if you buy any content that total to $60 up til March 18th, you will get $10 code from them.

So if you can think up stuff you'd want to get for $60 by Wednesday you could make use of the offer.

Otherwise, if the only thing you're interested in is Strider, then go for it.
The game is 60 FPS on PS4 btw as one member informed me some days ago~

Thanks but only interested in Strider, I'm getting Infamous physically.

I enjoyed Shuttle Quest. Only played through some of the first chapter because it's free, but I plan to buy the rest at some point.

Can I invert X and Circle button on Japanese PS Vita?

I just imported a PS Vita 2000 japanese version (Lime).
I noticed that, like the Japan story of Playstation teaches us, buttons X and Cirlce are inverted, so you use Circle to proceed and X to abort.

Is there a way to invert them (guess not) in order they are like in PAL Ps Vita?
For you that think that this stuff is annoying just for the dashboard and not for game, I say it is not. Playing Hotline Miami, I have to press Circle to choose a level, interact,... instead of the usual X.

Thanks for help.

No you cannot change it.

It depends on the game whether or not it has it's own control scheme or adopts the software level one (Like Hotline Miami does).

no you can't

And that's why it sucks even more that we don't get the coloured Vitas. I we want one of those we have to live with the stupid button change :/

Picbox is quite nice, is Picross for Vita and if you like rhythm games you must give a try to Cytus Lambda, I think it is one of those little know gems from Vita's catalog.

Already bought Muramasa (somewhat played), Malicious (barely touched it), Persona 4G (finished it).

Curve Bundle... eh, Lone Survivor is the one I really want and it's free on PS+ soon.
Injustice... not a fan of comic book AND fighting games in general.
TxK... looks weird.
Olli Olli... not a fan of skateboarding game.

Danganronpa..... urgh, if only it doesn't clash with my FFX/FFX-2 VITA fund I'd buy this in a heart beat.

Cytus Lambda is great the only think i find lazy is that backgrounds doesnt have animations but anything else is great i mean is a 90 songs game for only 12 dollars
