Oh my... picture Jiggs with one eye and the arm as a mouth.
 
So uh how much more powerful do you guys think Jigglypuff will get? Could you imagine if Sakurai took the Marth-shield breaker approach with her sing? Who knows how good it will actually be in the final product but imagine Jigglypuff's sing 3 or 4 times as big that guarantees the User sleeps at least as long as the attacks animation. Or better yet the sing is abled to be canceled out of.

Roll out was a blessing in Melee but she was still quite good in 64. Brawl just effed her up big time. What the devil was with the leech seed like flower on rest?

Jiggs was perfect in Melee. I don't know what Sakurai was smoking when he made her Brawl changes... ugh.

Only thing that needs to be fixed is:

All I want is Melee's Rest back. Everything else is just gravy.

I have no idea what they were thinking nerfing it in the first place. Someone on the SSBB balancing team had a vendetta against Jigglypuff and Captain Falcon I guess.
 
Well you cant go anime since its been shown that many pokemon can get different coats of fur and patterns depending on the environment. (I cant remember which episode it was but it was Season 1)

Really hope jiggs aint cut and they add a fairy move....what would should we replace? I never see sing pulled off in a 1v1 or roll out used since its kinda dangerous.

Sing replaced with Dazzling Gleam that works like Shiek's Up B but stuns like a Deku Nut.

I have never been one of "those gamers" you know? But if that exact quote was used I would literally riot in the streets. I mean I would absolutely go bonkers destroying every inanimate object in my path. Well that's what i'd like to think anyway.
 
I don't believe that Smash Bros. Jigglypuff is actually supposed to be shiny, but either way it's a color error. It's not just a different shade of pink, it's different colored eyes, too. I understand that they were basing it off the anime originally (in which it is a color error as well), but Jigglypuff's standard and shiny colorations have since been established in the main Pokémon games, and Jigglypuff's Smash Bros. design should be updated to reflect that, too.



Also, yay for living in a state that doesn't observe Daylight Savings Time! :D
 
@Ridly talk: Not sure Sakurai realizes the consequences if he does that....oh God I would instantly taste the salt in the air after reading that.
 
I'm confused. Updates were usually at 10 p.m. for me before Dailight Savings Spring Forward. Wouldn't that make the updates at 11 p.m. for me? Its almost midnight.

10pm PST/1am EST

Now its 12pm PST/3am EST?

Did I miss something?

Honestly, Jigglypuff didn't change all that much going over to Brawl. Her b-air and Rest got nerfed, her f-air and Pound got buffed... and that's pretty much all the major changes to her moves. She, like Captain Falcon, got screwed over by the general gameplay system more than getting directly nerfed themselves.
