Nah I don't think it is the same model.
A) Captain Rainbow! I think he's a definite character possibility and has pretty good odds of an Assist Trophy.
B) Moreover, even if he's not in, this shows they're digging pretty deep and bringing in a lot of pretty obscure trophies, which I'm SUPER excited about. There was a distinct lack of that in Brawl (other than the Magical Starsign stuff and I guess Custom Robo, too).

Hmm, yeah I'm puzzled with this screenshot. I am leaning more towards it being a long shot as far as Captain Rainbow being playable. Assist Trophy sounds good though, from what I am hearing from people it sounds like the majority of his moveset would be created from scratch with not much to draw on.
Mike Jones, yeah I don't know who he is or what he is from. Sounds like both use yo-yo's so I'm assuming we would only get one and not both. Also, this who think one (or both) might make it in, do you also think Ness's smash's would get re-worked?

I wonder how all of you would have reacted if say, Sakurai showed off the Captain Rainbow Little Mac before the Little Mac reveal.
I'm more likely to laugh at the picture and starting to worried about Little Mac's Inclusion.
Imagine if Sakurai decided to show Mewtwo Trophy. We wouldn't know if he would be playable character or just a single trophy.

Palutena.
Flame Choke comes from Twilight Princess. Other than that though he has many unrepresented abilities. He has his normal fireball (which would be cool if any character could reflect it with an attack, and it gets stronger as it goes back and forward between attacks), he has the black hole thing that showers fireballs, dual blade attacks, trident attacks (phantom ganondorf style), possession, crystallization (Did it to Zelda), many transformations, a few stands, teleporting, turning into a giant face, pure dark energy (as represented in a few of his moves I guess), among other things.
He has potential to do so much more.
That said, he's extremely fun as is. I'd love if they just kept building upon this base and adding more of his other abilities on top of it.

I just hope this is an indication of more trophy variety, Brawl selection was awful compared to Melee
To be honest, Nintendo has a LOT more shit to represent in the time between Brawl and 4 than it did between Melee and Brawl, especially since Brawl did some weird cherry picking for its trophies and historic content.

Ironically enough it helps that Wii U's upcoming library is so sparse - it gives them less to pick just for the purpose of promotion.

But, I'm 90% sure that the bet wasn't whether or not Paultena is a newcomer (because I personally think she is a shoe-in), but it is about the leak being fake or not (which I believe it is. Hence my avatar.).
