This thread is harrowing in a way I was not expecting.
Chicken and mashed potato burritos.I grabbed a hot pocket out of the vending machine. There was a line to the microwave, and I had to get some reading in before my next class, so I walked out without heating it. It was too frozen to eat, so I put it in my pocket to thaw while I read. Over the next 30 minutes, bit by bit, as pieces of it became soft enough for me to bite off, I ate a frozen hot pocket. And that was my meal.
Let's hear your sad meal/meals.
(For clarity: I've eaten chicken heads, chicken feet, dog, and balut. Those were gross and exotic, but they were not sad. Sad is what we need.)

Saltine Crackers with Frank's Red Hot on them. Really tasty, but not much of a meal.
Midnight.
Jetlagged.
So sleepy. So hungry. Too famished to drive.
Opened the fridge - nothing to eat except a jar of peanut butter. No bread obviously.
Had some spoons of peanut butter to fill myself up and finally had a bit of energy to drive for fast food.
Yeah, had pretty much that identical meal a couple times, lol.
Might be Saturday night when I was editing a short film all day, and suddenly it was 10 pm and didn't have dinner. Practically no food in the apartment, no milk, so I ate handfuls of Honey Nut Cheerios and a couple slices of pepper jack cheese. And a glass of wine. But I don't have wine glasses, so it was in a tin cup.
One time I had no food in the apartment so I ate a handful of Tums out of the medicine cabinet to stave off hunger for a few hours until I could go shopping the next day.
WHY WOULDN'T SOME OF YOU GUYS JUST EAT THE RAMEN AS SOUP LIKE NORMAL!? YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUT EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN TWO SLICES OF BREAD
But my saddest meal? Probably instant mashed potatoes. Nothing else, just a bowl of bland instant mashed potatoes.
UghSaltine crackers and yellow mustard.
That was all I ate for like a week one time.
I eat peanut butter with a spoon all the time, usually as a desert. Last night there was a little left in the jar so I threw some maple syrup and sliced almonds in there.
Haven't seen this pic in a while, cracks me up every time
