Figure GAF |OT| Where has all of my money gone?

It's time to pay for Angel. How is SAL parcel? Is it the same as SAL and with tracking? EMS is also available, but it would cost me 6,040 JPY -_-

Like the OT says, SAL Parcel is super pricey and super slow. Just spring for EMS and you can have her super fast.

oh well, i'll just sit on a preorder on amazon for now and if it goes up before now and then for a better price i can just get that one instead. I thought I would be happy with just the GSC one but nope gotta get that sly face.

She sold out faster than I expected. I had to grab her from HLJ because everyone else was sold out by the time I realized.

Alleyne is releasing on March 17th!

...All of the figures for this month are actually going to be released and none will be delayed, won't they?

My wallet, it cries.

The only two figs I have on order are arriving together then...
Quickly! I need an enabler!

Who did you order from? Still waiting for a payment request from Hobby Search.

And that shipping is going to kill me, especially since I have another shipment pending from AmiAmi.

What are the odds that Alter will ever re-issue their Yoko Littner?

Alleyne, Tharja, and Olivia confirmed incoming? Ouch. Maybe I should try to cancel Olivia. That shipping is going to hurt.

Well that's Tharja, Alleyne, and Olivia confirmed for this month. If one more is added to that list, which I'm sure there will, that would mean any additional ones will result in a second box, and hence, two shipping costs from AmiAmi.

I have a feeling that 7th Dragon 2020/Deep Sea Hatsune Miku will be delayed, that only leaves Iris Hartley as the last remaining figure. If it's only her, I might...might be able to get away with one box, but if the box for Olivia is as heavy/large as I envision...

Didn't know you guys were such big fans of Queen's Blade. Am I missing something?
I've been a pretty decent supporter for Queen's Blade around these parts, at least for the character design.

I enjoy the show for what it is, although I know many would hate it. However, I really do like the design of the characters. They're all unique from each other, with varying personalities.

I don't mind it either. It's like you said, the show is what it is.

same artist who did hyakka samurai girls. Nios or something like that. I don't care about the show tbh.

The artists for Queen's Blade are many, but Nishi has not been involved with the main-line series (I can't speak for certain about spinoffs like Queen's Gate or the new Grimoire series). Eiwa (a personal fave), F.S., and Oda Non are some of the big ones. Rin Sin for the TV designs.

The show is nonsense, but some of the character designs are great (Risty is top tier!)

Are you sure about that? I swore I saw some queen's blade stuff in his artbook. Maybe it was Queen's gate tho. I do know that he had a hand on the deadly sin art

Yeah, he did some designs for the later Queen's Blade spin-off's, such as Queen's Gate [Alice]. To my knowledge, he wasn't involved with the original Queen's Blade.

There have been promotional artworks done by a whole raft of artists and he could've done some for that (for example, Tsukasa Jun did an amazing Risty which her MegaHouse figure is based off of instead of her original or TV appearance), but I know that Nishi was not the designer of any of the original characters, and fairly certain he wasn't the designer of any of the Rebellion characters either.

And yep, 7 Deadly Sins is all him. Don't get me wrong, I love his style. The way he draws eyes captivates me.

My wife and I actually loved the show, me for obvious reasons. Our favorites parts In particular are the Leina, Risty and Claudette stories. She actually liked most the outfits if the character owned it (acted like it's what they want to wear) and she appreciated that most the women were depicted with muscular or athletic physiques (Claudette, Echidna and Irma were her favorites). The comrade in arms style bonds the women formed over time really appealed to her (she hates the omg, we're both girls, lets be friends, depictions). It was cheesy swords & sorcery stuff but with tough ladies.
We're both fans of Hyborean Age style fantasy.

Koto Cryska arrived today. Haven't fully unboxed her but I'm pretty happy with her for the price. Her armor isn't as glossy as they make it out to be in pics though which is a bit of a bummer.

Her face is weird.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, my friend. To me, she is beautiful.

Also, I know it's not technically figure-related, but since many figures were based off of his artwork, I figured I'd post it here.

As you may or may not know, Redjuice's first "official" artbook was released, and early reviews have been nothing but positive. From what I've seen, it's top-tier in quality. I've already ordered it from HS, since AmiAmi was sold out.

I shouldn't have wandered into the AmiAmi's book section....a few art book preorders just happened. This site, I love you but I hate you at the same time.

They are finally here, a lot faster than I thought, only took 5 days, my first figures : )

Don't ask me where is Fate, I can't afford her, and can't do combine shipping because she is in another store :(. Sorry for the photo bomb.

Here's my gundam Nanoha, all the weapon parts are made with plastic, but they put a lot of details into the weapons.

The figure itself look pretty blend, I was kind of disappointed when I first saw her. Just look at her dress and her hair, some prize figures have better detail than her. She is also very fragile, she will not survive a small fall.

She looks amazing after I assemble all the parts, I guess with so many weapons, it is hard to see her flaws. Definitely worth the money.

Her murderous smile is amazing:

You know, I never got the hype of that one. She does absolutely nothing for me. There's something about the face that I just don't like.

Not many blue haired figures that look that good of the top of my head and the contrast of her wings color/pose creates a nice dynamic that you don't see on most figures.
Also Guilty Gear XX is freaking awesome
