PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | March 2014

My friend in Chicago was just able to get in, but had a little trouble starting Warframe.

EDIT just restarted my PS4, and now back online.

So my playstation plus subscription will expire after a month...

Will I be able to keep saves of vita games/apps if I buy them straight after plus expiring?

Ooh, I got a Site Not Available, does that mean they're updating?

that message, since last night.

Cloud saves? The option will be gone.

I should have explained myself further.

1. I meant when you back-up the full game with the save through content manager.
2. Subscription runs out. I buy the game that I backed-up through content manager before subscription ran out.
3. Will I be able to keep saves that way?

Edit:

Or even. Just not delete the file on the vita. Then buy the game. The file works with the save?

I think so but I'm not 100% sure.

That's encouraging. It seems like I'm going to have to find out the hard way if there won't be any answers by users who tried this out.

I believe cloud saves are stored for a year after expiration.

The cloud saves are the only kind exclusive to PS+. You can backup the whole bubble via Content Manager just fine.

Not having any issues getting on US PSN.
Stuff is getting added but no Plus discount it seems.

Escha and Logy is $50 and is 6.something GB.

We’re still pushing content live due to some technical issues. Hopefully won’t be too long of a wait.

(check the comments on the EU PSN blog article for this week)

Brah no offense but you new to PSN?
EU PSN always updates on Wednesdays.
JPN PSN updates on Sundays and Thursdays IIRC.
US PSN updates on Tuesdays whenever Grace Chen feels like it.

This isn't the first time it's happened, even if you all are joking and trolling around...it's just video games children, calm the fuk down =V

It's still fucking ridiculous that SCEA has it's head this far up it's own ass.

Are you honestly trying to perpetuate the stereotype that only children care about games, on one of the most passionate video game forums on earth?

Obviously they aren't "just" video games to many of us here. It's our most important and passionate hobby.

I think the remark was towards our overall impatience, not our dope love for video games

Okay guys, regarding my problem with my PSN account ban last night, I called Sony, explained the situation, and the dude was nice but said the situation is a strange one so he had to go off and speak to his supervisor after pulling up my account details.

He came back and said he had good and bad news. He said the bad news is the ban came from head office, so they can't make a request to them else they'd just outright reject it.

So I have to write to the head office in London (write, not email, in this day and age) and that was that. I asked him how long it would take to receive a reply upon receipt of letter, and he said it should be within 48 hours.

Why do I feel that whatever I send will be going to the same office I just called and will fall on deaf ears?

I'm going to send the letter but if I don't get a reply, should I just call back and tell the advisor I've written to head office but received no reply, should I keep asking to speak to somebody higher up?

Hopefully you get your account back

Are you shitting me? I just woke up and the store still hasn't updated? Did Grace Chen take the week off or something?

I know the web store has had major issues for a few weeks now so it could be (hopefully) related to them finally fixing that up.

They must be having some major problems. I tried redownloading Street Fighter x Tekken and managed to download 100 mb in half an hour on a 20 mbps connection.
