Got the Titanfall statue and it's glorious. Really nice quality. The base is huge tho so I dunno where to display it. It's taller than MGS Rex!

I don't own any myself, so I don't know what the quality is like. I mean, they look not terrible, but it's just the laziest line design-wise. Most anime gals look pretty damn similar without their signature outfits too. If it weren't for senketsu and her little red streak you would not even be able to tell this is Ryuko. This one is cute, but I'm just going to stay away.

The quality of the Saber Alter one I have is acceptable. They're just small and not that well detailed. If you don't mind 1/10 scale and happen to like a particular one then I don't see a reason not to buy it, if you know what you're getting. Saber is cute and cost me like 2K JPY, so I'm not complaining.
 
I own two Beach Queens figures and the pros are the sculpts tend to look good and accurate to their source (face, body) and the designs and poses are simple and playful. Not lewd or sexual from the ones I've seen.

The cons with them is that they are grossly overpriced for not only the size but the quality of the PVC is only slightly better than high quality prize figures. If they were cheaper, I would recommend them to guys who like swimsuit figures.

I'll check tonight. It came with those certs of authenticity. Gotta be mentioned there.

Not too sure I wanna pay for Link (Nippon-Yasan so I could cancel, got till 19th to pay), he just costs too much XD, but then again the quality is incredible. Do RAH drop in prices and are they worth the costs? I'm leaning to cancelling RAH Link, but may buy it sometime down the road.

Gonna cancel it, as this month I've got Phoenix Wright vs Layton, FFX & X-2 HD, and I'm also getting Dark Souls 2 CE for my friend's Bday.
 
^ RAH only drops in prices if they reissue them (Marvel) or the brand isn't that popular (BRS) from what I've seen. Popular anime/video game series tends to stay at MSRP or go up in value.

Wasn't Link delayed? You have to pay on the 19th? AmiAmi hasn't sent me a payment request for it.

I thought it was delayed as well, and yeah it's asking me on payment by the 19th. Checking on Amiami instead of the May release, I think I've seen around, it's back to late March

Argh, why did everything have to come out at March T-T, after what you said if Link goes up in prices after I wait a while @__@;

Interesting. Weird they didn't email us that it was back to March.

Also preordered the Mikasa figure above. People here seem to hate the face but i think final figure will look better.

Mikasa's looking good and seeing as you're getting the initial production figure you get this face:

Which I find is the best expression from the batches, especially if you can make this pose with it, 2nd production batch gallery gets rid of these images as well lol:

Yeah I think I'll probably cancel Link for now, just have too much releasing this month, not cancelling Raidou cause I know that won't have much of a production run, and it seems to have sold out from Amiami.

I'm just confused as to why? It's not as if Mikasa is struggling to get figures. Like 4 different companies are making her. Why not wait, unless you plan on getting as many Mikasa figures as you can.

Oh lol thought Lik was talking about RAH Mikasa lol, but as you can tell Mikasa may be Lik's favourite character atm.

the first fixed posed Mikasa figure looks good to me. It's not horrendous like some guys make it out to be.

What other fixed posed Mikasa figures are coming out?

The pose is fine, the face looks kinda long though. I wouldn't be so hard on it if not for the price. For the quality they're providing, I would expect 7-8k or so, but 11k is pretty laughable considering there's no accessories and it's 1/8.

Quite a bit.

Looking forward to GSC and Koto's versions of Mikasa. Not sure which one I'll get. I'm wary of what GSC will charge for theirs.
 
They will all be mine.

Anyway, I'll let you guys know if I regret my purchase later or not. I can always resell if I'm unhappy with it.

Surprised Beach Queens hasn't made one yet. I guess 6-packs on girls isn't moe enough. I actually like the fact that Mikasa is buff as fuck. Makes perfect sense considering she's the top of her class in the Military. Wish more anime/manga had the balls to give their females some muscles, especially if they're known for being physically fit.
 
Momohime showed up today. Oh man...I usually wait to open the boxes when I get home from work but I couldn't wait. I think I might have actually hooked a coworker too, he really likes it and is now browsing AmiAmi.....

This poor dude has no idea what I have just done to him.

I've only recently started buying figures again and I've only used amiami so far,just want to know if anyone has used Anime Island before?As I don't see them listed in the OP.

They're legit, but not recommended because they are expensive, require deposits and get their stuff later because they're not based in Japan. Like most non-Japanese shops they should be used as a last resort.

Thanks,the only reason I want to use them is because they still have stock of the PAK MGS 2 Solidus.
