It's obviously a stage based off of Reggie's real-life bedroom. I guess that means Reggie is confirmed as a playable character for Smash...
A lot of pieces of furniture in that image don't exist in AC obvious ones being all those pictures on the walls. Then the fact the items are not stuck to a rigid grid with the chair being at a slight angle and the guitar leaning against it, such things are impossible in AC.

I had that idea as well by a quick GIS revealed nothing that looked like that even with its 2D art style taken into account.
