Make the elevator leave and lure them to the hole left behind. Easy kills.

What's the best way to get souls at level 151? I'm freaking poor and need money to upgrade stuff. I think I might be too high a level though.

co-op in the last area, sometimes you get lucky and get
both boss fights

Does
Carhillion
move from No Mans Wharf? I've only spoken to him once, didn't attack him or anything like that, and he's gone.

Does reinforcing my staff boost my spell damage? I see it boosts my "magic damage" but I'm not sure if thats just my staff doing magic damage when i attack with it physically. I've got like 26 intelligence and its already teetering off and my magic damage is pretty meh (using starter staff)

Yeah it does. I'd upgrade the first staff as much as you can. You aren't really going to find a better one until much later in the game.

I'm loving Force for PvP. Hmm those front stabs.

Edit: It's awesome when you invade and it uses up your stone, only to have them walking through the mist door right as you're able to move.

just sunbro'd for a guy for smelter demon. He summoned Lucatielelelelel too.

Except she got stuck outside the fog door, leaving us as 2 vs a boss adjusted for 3 players.

We won. tense as fuck. Host used his head.

Yes, he goes to Majula. He is near the cliff edge between Crestfallen and the Blacksmith.

Thanks. Looked all over the place but apparently not well enough. Someone really needs to update the wikia with that info. Thought he was glitched for the last two days.

Alright, what am I doing wrong? I'm currently trying to fight the (boss spoiler)
Smelter Demon
and I've gotten pretty good at timing dodges for pretty much every other enemy in the game, and it looks like I'm dodging his attacks (i.e. I'm not getting a hit animation) and yet I'm still taking a ton of damage from the swing. Is my timing really that off? Or am I just missing something obvious?

I think I missed the first bonfire in dreaglic castle, I fell through the floor and found the second one. Is there any way out or do I have to warp back to shaded ruins?

So I'm not sure where to go next and would like a bit of subtle help if possible.

I have beaten these important bosses
Lost Sinner, The Rotten, Old Iron King
and the only bosses I haven't fought yet I know are optional
Gargoyles, Royal Rat Authority
.

I've talked to the
wheelchair guy
twice.

Was there another path out of
The Shaded Woods
after the boss besides the
Doors of Pharos
?

Is there an area I should be looking in for the path to proceed?

can someone give me a gentle nudge in the correct direction? please don't spell it out unless it's necessary to. I'm gonna go talk to every NPC in Majula until they repeat their dialog again...

EDIT: Oh, damn it, I immediately figured it out after posting this. I quit last night immediately after finding the bonfire
at the start of Doors of Pharos
and I totally missed the extremely obvious other path I should have taken. Whoops.

Ok I GIVE UP! >.<

I'm looking up some guides for
the first Iron Keep boss, Smelter Demon.

I died like 6 times already, and that was with Phantom Help... >.>

Yeah you could do this solo no problem. Just practise the timing on the dodge (try using the audible cues of his growls before he swings, and make sure you can do 3 consecutive dodges for his 3-hit combo attack, with some stamina left over for one or two hits afterward. It's easiest I found to dodge to the left, since he always starts with a right swing, and stick really close to his body. When he drops down, dodge to the side and then back, because if you mess up the timing here or dodge backward, he can drop right on top of you. See if you can two-hand a sword (if you're melee) as well, and get some sort of fire resistance going. You can get
the flame quartz ring from the petrified merchant lady you dress up
Also, make sure to go back to this room after the fight/ bonfire.

Oh god I make it a point to jump down every obvious trap hole even if I know it's there and probably full of something awful. But the one in
Shaded Ruins
...

Uhh could be that it's his body.
He lights his body on fire.

Yes!

Oops my bad, just realized you only have 3 of the bosses. Go on investigating the
doors of pharros
a little bit more for your next area.

Try dodging to the left on his 3-hit, and toward him, so like, diagonally left. That way you'll miss his blade.

I made a little game inside the game with my newphews and cousin. Since they are young we made the who gets the lowest at the well on Majula and Bonfire Races.

Put your summons down by some boss fights (
Old Iron King
works for me).

Question: About to play
Doors of Pharros.
Got there before and made it to this part where I could see a fog door but couldn't see how to get there. What do I do? Thanks.

Edit: Ha ha, I read this all wrong at first.

You need to go up the stairs near the entrance of the Doors of Pharros.

Has anyone been able to defeat
Darklurker
yet?

Last thing I have to do before NG+, and I'm getting murdered
as soon as he splits in two. Basically if either hit me with anything, I'm done for. I'm also starting to run out of Human Effigies to keep retrying. Straight melee build is suddenly feeling like a bad idea.

I have the souls of:

The Lost Sinner, Old Iron King, and the Rotten

Where to now? I feel at a dead end, I've gone to a lot of places.

Am I crazy to still be using the Drangleic Sword+1 at almost SL100? Am I even more crazy for thinking about going to Raw with it?

Brightstone Cove, after the first Doors of Pharros bonfire, just continue in that small cave.

I love doing things like this in games. Making up little mini games with friends/family.

It's real fun to see the kids having fun with the game. I would drop them randomly on different areas of the games and the would need to find another bonfire in order to complete the task. No attacking, no blocking, just the power of running and rolling. They spent like 1 hour playing the random games I could come out with. No Man's Wharf was to reach the boat and surprisingly the one I least expected to do it managed to do it.

Enter the Chasms of old...

take one step

fall into a bottomless pit.

Second try,

jump the pit

feel good

then suddenly

MOTHERFUCKING HAVEL THE ROCK

Beat the game, loved ever second of it, but now I'm on stuck on NG+

Fuck you you piece of shit pyromancers. Fuck the lost sinner. Bitch

I faithed him to death. He did kill me twice after I beat him twice though...

Shaded woods
is by far the worst place to invade, along with
Lost Bastille. Got stuck on the other side of the gate when invading and couldn't lift it to attack at all.

Question, after I change a weapon to something like Raw, do I need more Raw stone to go to +5 or the original ore to raise the value? If so, is there only a limited amount of raw/fire/lightning in the game?

Oh ok so now that you have
the 4 souls, head to the ruined fork bonfire in the woods and head to the far left entrance opposite the foggy one

It doesn't say she's an important soul, though? I'll try going there, though.

The great soul for Freya isn't dropped by Freya, rather it is on a corpse in that same room. Based off what you said, it sounds like you didn't get that.

I grabbed it, it just isn't listed as a major soul, so I thought it wasn't.
