PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | March 2014

is Steamworld Dig not cross-save compatible? I just started it up on my Vita after playing for a while last night on my PS4 but it wants me to start a new game :-/

edit: looked it up and sure enough it is not cross-save, that's disappointing

So, the wait is finally over. A little over a year after its unveiling at the PS4 announcement event in New York, inFAMOUS Second Son arrives in stores tomorrow. And today we’re happy to confirm that those of you planning to purchase the game digitally will be able to do so from midnight tonight.

And just to recap, there are two options for a digital purchase: the standard version including just the game itself (€59.99/£49.99/AU$ 77.95), and the Legacy Edition, which includes the Cole’s Legacy expansion, four in-game jackets for Delsin to wear, and an additional jacket that unlocks when you complete Cole’s Legacy (€69.99/£62.99/AU$104.95).

I got $100 from my boss for overtime this weekend. So tempted to go to Gamestop tonight, but I really should wait for Gamefly. Gonna be Tuesday for me at the soonest.

They worked real fast today with my 10000 yen code, but since I have work (and a shitty one at that), I only got to see it now.

The thing is that it's not working. Already submitted a Customer Support Ticket.

This is really annoying. It doesn't fucking help that they don't work on weekends.
 
Are there any DLCs coming for FFX/X-2 HD?

I'm thinking of buying the R3 ones so the carts come in separately but I'm not sure if there are possible DLCs coming especially if there's an OG music DLC.

I have an R1 account btw.

You should get the curve bundle instead. The game is not worthy of the price curve is asking for it

Ah, right. Thanks for posting those links. :) I'm very tempted to import X-2 now that I know I can play it in English. I've got a UK copy on it's way, but that obviously only has a code for X-2. I like my physical media!
 
No one making the OT for Deception IV? I'm seriously considering making one with cj_iwakura being forbidden in making one despite reserving the slot in the community.

Yea, but you may want to shop around a bit. As someone else mentioned, the games are actually significantly cheaper (~$25 USD) in retail stores in asia than Playasia.com.

You should ask cj for that. He might have a template up and running and / or have tasked someone else to do it.

Destiny of Spirits dragged me in the F2P time waster mode again. I should go back to FFX to beat that blitzball game again.

Problem is the mods even forbid him helping in any way making the OT for it. I don't know the full story but it sucks.

But maybe I can jump through some hoops to get the thread up earlier.

Any OT which cj claimed should be freed up in the OT OT thread. He was juniored and continued to claim OTs presuming (wrongly) that he would automatically be unjuniored. That's not how things work and he should not be claiming any OTs until he can make threads again, if that ever happens. Otherwise it's just claiming stuff in bad faith.

I guess the Deception OT is up for grabs. If someone doesn't reserve it until tomorrow, I guess I'll make it.

I'm really tempted to get FFX for now and wait out a price drop on X-2. The only question is, what platform? Is there anything good reason to not get it on the Vita and get the PS3 version?

Thank you, I tried to be certain of inclusion of English language on ASIA versions. I already pre-ordered the FF X and X-2 bundle (EU version) but I'm definitely picking up a physical version of FF X-2 too.

You can't get them separately on EU and NA regions. Your best bet is importing the Asian copy since X is separate from X-2 there and have the same features as the EU/NA copies. The problem is that'll be more expensive in the long run.

I'm quite lucky here because our retailers sell the game in all kinds of regions so I get to pick which one I prefer. I'll probably get the R3 ones because my friend is nagging me to buy a physical copy for both so he can borrow them after I use it. The only problem is I'm wary if there are any possible music DLCs coming for it since my PSN account is on R1. Seeing that the R3 copies have a Lightning costume DLC included in the cart, I'm more wary of future DLCs coming.

Yes but I'm not talking about games in different regions. I'm talking about games in multiple Sony platforms. For instance, you can get two platinum trophies for Dragon's Crown if you have them on PS3 and Vita since they feature a separate set of trophies IIRC.

It is a small selling point for people to buy cross save games I suppose. Incentivises indies to include the feature

I can't tell you guys how much fun I had with a friend with Towerfall last night. We're both pretty bad, but we played it for hours, got to the last stage and man we could not beat that last wave.

Buy this game if you want to play with friends, I used to play Spelunky death matches with friends and I think this game is way more strategic rather than reactive.
 
FYI, nampad/takao/itachi -- I was able to hook you guys up with some of the prize bubbles that require you to complete a stupid tilt based minigame in world 5 with 3-star rating -- there was another area that Itachi and I went to somewhere in world 3 (could've been world 2) where a sticker was required and we didn't have it (it's an arrow shape). You get that sticker from one of the create tutorials (look at the icons to the right of the tutorial name in the list) -- so if you're going for 100% bubble pickup in story levels, make sure you get that tutorial watched prior to making your run at collecting.

Anyone who has LBP and wants to do me a favor, I published two "easy" trophy levels last night; if you wanna give me a hand, go play them both quickly; they should load quick and complete quickly too. I need that 50 unique players trophy still.

You're not the only one who complained and after seeing many complaining posts, they said they didn't think it was that big of a deal.

And honestly I didn't too, but I can see why people are disappointed. Btw, try ask them about a patch on their twitter account or in the game's thread (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=769112&page=2)

yeah i tweeted at them in little while ago
just seems like such an obvious thing to add. i have no interest in playing the game twice. half the reason i love these cross buy games with ps3/ps4 and vita is that i can pick up my saves on either platform and continue where i left off

Cheers, I'd be all over that bundle if the games were crossbuy but it seems if I want Stealth Inc for PS4 I'll have to buy the PS4 version.

Shame about Steamworld Dig and cross-save, hope they patch it in.
 
Heh I was actually gonna work on an OT for Deception, didn't realize anyone claimed it, but the launch date got too close and I got too busy at work, and my Gamefly is maxed atm so I probably won't get the game before mid April.

Couldn't agree more. Cross-save is such an awesome feature, I feel it should be mandatory on cross-buy games.

i suppose i could buy the game now and hope they update it out of good faith
