Nobody should be supporting Dark Souls 2 right now -- it's absolute bullshit they've pulled on this one. Yeah, there will be people who *need* the game or whatever and maybe the core game is okay (though I've seen people in SteamGAF who bought the console version because they couldn't wait til the end of April for the PC version and they quit playing due to a bunch of the technical issues), but at the end of the day, it's still a case of some shady business on Namco/FROM's part here.
The game, which was already delayed once, if I recall, had demos and trailers put out where the final game looks (and in some cases plays) nothing like what was shown. Furthermore, they kept a tight review embargo on the final retail release for ps3/360 so that none of these changes were really able to be brought to light before consumers rushed out to pick up their pre-orders.
I, for one, already cancelled my PC preorder and will not be considering a purchase until they show some PC footage and indicate which version of the game PC gamers will be getting. If I had gone for the console release and experienced the drastic visual downgrade, the change in game structure (for reasons unknown, since Namco/FROM hasn't commented on any of this to my knowledge), as well as the general performance issues regarding long load times and areas of the game which players have stated "seem rushed and you can tell based on low texture quality, etc.", I would be frothing at the mouth and absolutely outraged more than I am already based on my hype train for PC release crashing and burning. Outright deceiving your core audience in terms of product quallity is not cool, period.
Not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the free PS+ games or something different?

I think he means that if you don't have a Vita but have PS+ that you should be redeeming all the free PS+ content to your account so that when you get a Vita you have access to all the games that had been offered in the interim.

Basically anything that is free on PS Plus, just fucking get it even if you don't own the system.

Exactly. Most of the free games "expire" after a month, so they won't be available free when you eventually get your Vita.
If you have PS+ now, "buy" all the free Vita games as they are offered on the PS store, and you'll be able to play and download them when you get your Vita as long as you keep paying for Plus.
I am crap at Luftrausers on the Vita. Took me like 5 hours to finally kill a blimp. I cannot see to get a few of the missions: Kill a Submarine at MAX, they never seem to appear when I am MAX. Get a 40-chain and 50-chain, I always mess this one up. Also, I kept trying to nuke the blimp, and it wasn't giving me a kill, had to actually shoot it down the hard way. Submarines barely show up. Been alternating between using the D-pad and analog stick for movement and the R-trigger for propulsion.
Thanks! Controls work quite well and the game looks nice on the Vita. I've done the first level (and wander around the mansion for a while).
I've bought that Age of Zombies game too (from the guys that made Jetpack Joyride) and it's quite good. It's simple but fun, there is a good variety of weapons (I've used 5 so far + 4-5 types of grenades) controls work well... It has a campaign mode (I'm at 3-3) and a survival mode that has endless waves of enemies.
Getting both for 4.2 was a steal (2.70 + 1.50 iirc).

TWA is a perfect game to chill with at the end of a long day. some thought provoking instances, calming music, atmosphere etc...
only bit that is very harsh/ distracting is the constant re adjusting of the text narration

No. It's a great game with an excellent soundtrack. It's short, too, so I'd suggest you finish it up and move on.

It's a fun little score-chasing arcade game. The kind of game you can play for a few minutes or a few hours due to the "one more try" feeling it comes with. It's got a bunch of unlocks and mixing up plane parts is cool. It does have a bit of stutter very occasionally on Vita, though.
Oh and the music is dope.

It was okay overall... took me just under 8 hours with copious amounts of death and achievement hunting.
Seems like a one and done though... don't know if I'll go back for the speed run or if I'll bother with cleaning up the couple "secret area" type achievements I seem to have missed somehow. Maybe once someone puts up a guide.
I still recommend Luftrausers if you only purchase one.
Steamworld Dig is a solid game... and there's something that pulls you back in and makes you want to go find more loot... but at the same time it kind of gets old quickly... it's much better once you're fully upgraded, but then there's not much left after you have the majority of the upgrades...

Could not buy FFX HD today. They were sold out on every store near my place. :/
I also had a go with InFAMOUS SS and wow it's great so much stuff to do <3. MGSV:GZ was WOW though. The feel of 60fps. It was on the short side though.

Went Digital on FFX|X-2 HD and Physical on Infamous SS. Figure I can finish up Infamous and trade it in for pretty good value... and I'd never trade in FFX|X-2 HD.

Okay, thanks. $2.50 isn't a major bump up so I'll buy it full price a little over a week from now. I grabbed Festival of Blood last night, so this will be a very Infamous focused weekend.
And yeah, there was speculation that Mercenary Kings might be the PS+ game for April over on Playstation Lifestyle though I'm skeptical that is the case.

But my friend is nagging me to buy a physical copy so he can borrow it from me when I finish it.
Also I really dig that R3 cover for both games. Luckily they're priced at approximately 20-25 dollars each so around 50 for both of them.
After playing MGS for quite some time, I've grown fond of Kiefer Sutherland's voice. It did need some getting used to since I'm so familiar with David Hayter's Batman-like voice.
I've only played Luftrausers. Luftrausers is freaking amazing though so get that
DIGITAL. I went digital because it would bother me if I only had X on cart and X-2 digital

I've been okay w/ the ps4 stuff, but last month was straight up awful. Need dat april comeback.
Vita-side(which is what I mainly look forward to), the last game that was of my interest was Guacamelee along with SART. If next month will be disappointing, then it'll be the fourth in a row.
It's not a big deal because of the massive backlog, but yeah, still disappointing
