Speaking of discussing Smash, I popped on to Smashboards for a bit last night and started reading over some of the confirmed character discussion threads when I was greeted with a theory that there are already a lot of stealth buffs in place in the game for the current vets. I don't want to buy into anything without video confirmation honestly, but someone definitely linked to one of the earliest pictures of Marth's Dancing Blade and upon second look, it did seem like the range on the move (the sword) got buffed.

Did Diddy need a range buff? We don't know these things since we haven't played the game. The vets have all been approached from scratch and there are countless newcomers. We will just to have to see where the pieces fall.
OT6| Sakarai is going to post a new character but first let me take a selfie|OT6| Nintendo Characters Take Selfies
Marth's sword will need to be longer to be effective against Ridley.

How big do you want it to be, enough to cover half of Final Destination?!?!?

That'll work. Ridley hates splinters.

Marths Dancing Blade hasn't been revealed to get a buff yet, only his Shield Breaker move IIRC - in any case, I'm holding out for a Black Knight assist trophy.
Everyone gets buffed.
Apart from Link who gets nerfed.

He's a bit too fast... nerf his speed and smashes.
Brawl Link is possibly the most inexplicably nerfed character I have ever seen in a fighting game.I still think one of the most hilarious changes they gave Link was introducing that charge lag on his grounded Up B. What the hell guys. :lol
|OT6| Let's get SMAAAAAAAASHED for goodNess sake!
I like the emphasis on Ness - seriously, when are we going to see Yoshi, Captain Falcon, Ness and Jigglypuff?

Link and Toon Link's Boomerangs have actually not been shown at all, so here's to hoping that Link has his regular Boomerang back, I hated that stupid Gale Boomerang.Does Link still have the gale boomerang? I don't remember seeing Link's boomerang in any of the videos of pictures. I'm sure someone on here can straighten me out quick.
