Do titanite chunks/slabs become more available later in the game? I'm currently at the
Iron Keep
and I still haven't found enough titanite to fully upgrade my mace (Currently +7). I was hoping to upgrade my claymore at some point as well, but chunks/slabs seem hard to come by thus far.

I've leveled up four different weapons to +10 and I'm getting close to the end of the game (I think). There's plenty around.

Another thing that has happened to me a lot:
1. Get summoned
2. Loading screen
3. Appear in world
4. Immediate fade to black
5. Loading screen
6: "Summoning failed. World master has died."

Why, people? Just wait 5 seconds before rushing in headlong.

I also have a fully upgraded Murakuno but I fucking hate it since for some reason it always decides to spin my character 180 degrees when attacking with it. Screwed me over many duels.

Are you holding the stick in a direction while you swing? If it's like Ultra Greatsword that thing will pivot a slash in the direction you're holding the stick in, even if you're locked on. So to aim straight at an enemy without pivoting on that you have to have the stick neutral or be aiming it towards them.

think i'm going to have to pump some points into endurance so i can wear some better armour. Hitboxes are so fucked i can't risk rolling or lose 2/3rd of my hp to a single fucking strike.

I swear, Sinner excluded, the mobs are the hardest thing about this game.

good idea!
until you realize to wear better armor you need to pump points into vitality...

What's your ADP? I stopped running into that problem once I started raising my agility to 95ish.

Anyone know what the health/damage jumps are between NG cycles? The big jump is at NG+, I know, but I'm getting wrecked by NG++ bosses despite breezing through them before. Either I'm just way worse at the game now or the boost is considerable between NG+ and ++.

Iron Keep is about to break me. I hate having to go through Belfry Sol getting invaded every three seconds and I am sick of fighting those armadillos.

Yes, finally got the Dragon Acolyte armour set. Will never change from these (well, the robe anyway, maybe the mask might go.)

I can't get the hang of dual wielding (in PvE anyway). I always get hit way too often even with dodging. I still need my shield crutch :x

In PvP, I tried fighting some guy who was using his fists, and it seemed to work out better, but I need more testing.

Belfry Sol is completely optional dude.

If you haven't beaten Smelter Demon, the Belfry Sol bonfire is better than going back to the first one in Iron Keep.

Play offline. I went through Grave of Saints that way, didn't feel like being sucked into people's worlds when I simply wanted to join the covenant for a trophy.

So I got a message on my PSN account from someone just saying
"ascetic used." I had used a bonfire ascetic on the cardinal tower fire recently to respawn. How would a player know I did this? Or is it a dev sending me an automated message? More importantly why would such a thing even warrant a message?

Had you been doing co-op with people earlier? If people were summoning you to their world for co-op they might've been trying to warn you ahead of time that you were playing on quasi-NG+. I've gotten one message along those lines when someone summoned me to help with
Freja
.

Aw damn, I blew all 15 of my Petrified Dragon Bones on the Scythe of Want, only to find out it's not infuseable or enchantable with Dark/Resonant Weapon. I should've gone with the Roaring Halberd, or else just dragon armor. C'est la vie. Now to blow ascetics on farming more! :D

Should I kill the firekeepers from the beginning of the game? I heard they drop a lot of human effigies and I dearly need them for the D
arklurker fight.
Do killed NPCs respawn on NG+? I need the Human Effigies, but at the same time I don't want to lock myself out of resetting my stats.

Can't believe
The Rotten
was a major boss, destroyed him on my first try. Still stuck at the
Smelter Demon
though. :(

So did anyone else find the last boss deeply underwhelming? I mean all I did was stay outside the range of her curse-things and spammed her with lightning.

Halberds are awesome in PvP. People can't handle it when you go all helicopter on their asses. Plus that range, so good.

I could handle it just fine if I got hit where the actually attack is at. laggy mofos cleaving me from 10 miles away get's old when it's something as brain dead as that spin

Dragon Aerie looks nice, but I don't like how the interior of the castle before it turned out, too gray :(

This is probably my biggest complaint about the graphics. Some of the dark areas and many of the passageways are too gray. Dark Souls 1 definitely handled these types of areas better.

Making the character emit a warm orange glow would go a long way, instead of the flat white light he emits now.

What's the best place to farm them?

Where do I go after I got all the main boss souls? Which area do I go to get to the castle?

shaded woods - go up the stairs and down the path on the left. there you'll find this iron cage/gate that'll open up (not the black door, that's for later).

I finding the same thing. I haven't tried it yet but you can duel with people at the cathedral to boost.
NG+ is probably best for that just because of the removal of matching caps (if I'm remembering right.) Though I had one instance where I successfully invaded, only for the world master to go into the boss. Maybe the connection already broke by then and so nothing was being sent/received anyway, but I rolled away from the two Sunbros who were locked onto me judging by the stance, and while they just stood there watching me I waved goodbye and faded to black immediately afterwards. Must've seemed a kind of odd situation there.

I suddenly feel like I'm very over leveled for the game without intending to be so. I'm just under SL 100 and I've beaten all of the Old Ones besides whatever is at the end of The Gutter's branch. I'm using a Gwyrm Greathammer +8 and it can demolish pretty much everything, including bosses. Bosses that people have been complaining about, like the S

in about 30 seconds because he whiffed a punch three times in a row. It's not that I'm just used to the difficulty of Souls games, because the game was giving me a challenge until Earthen Peak and Iron Keep gave me more ores than I knew what to do with.

I've never done a strength build in a Souls game though, so maybe I'm just not used to being able to kill anything in one or two hits.

Double thanks. I wish the NPCs would let us know where to go since there's actually a destination.

I got that hammer. Guess I'll try using that for a second play through to get one trophy I missed out on.

People can gripe about nitpicky things with this game without mentioning the awesome additions. Dual wielding is amazing. The power stance moves add a whole new dimension to combat and I'm freaking addicted (double of club and mace is kicking major butt right now). I'm gonna miss it when I play Demons and DS1 after this...

a melee char can't beat D
arklurker
right?

Dark
Havel
is kicking my ass almost everytime i try to get the boss.
i have only 10 humanity items left.

:(

they can, but it can get kinda dicey once
they split

but yes, actually getting there is a fucking pain due to how narrow and full of holes the path is, filled as it is with enemies you're required to kill
