They did show a scene where it implys that he used
Silver Tape to defeat a guard xD

When you look like a Japanese fanfic version of Silver Surfer, those are your only poweroptions, really.
Silver Tape, Wolverine's REAL weakness

Thor 2 is considered to be bad? Thought it was a really enjoyable movie... Well. If Thor 2 is bad, I cannot imagine what Wolverine Origin is supposed to be or X-Men 3...

Ha, fair enough.

I can't even remember the plot of that movie. I just remember Loki being badass, as always.

Well if it has a terrible poster it must be good

History supports this claim.

How underwhelming. Where are the Sentinels? Aren't they supposed to be a huge aspect of the persistent danger the X-Men feel and the quintessential tension generator for the viewer? They were in one shot and they looked way too small in it.

Just like all the FOX X-Men films; the only thing that's going to be any good about it is the interactions between Magneto and Xavier. Action looks terrible and I got no sense of an impending or ongoing apocalyptic situation.

When I look at what Marvel Studios is doing with their property the FOX/SONY situation makes me so salty.

Hoooooooooooooooooooooooly SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!

into my god damn veins!!

love the direction they are taking the franchise.

wish we saw more sentinels though- I just want to hear one say -

"Halt, Mutant!"

I don't get how people who are such huge fans of the Marvel Studios films seem to harbour this resentment for the X-Men films.

Why not both, guys? X-Men, X2, First Class, and The Wolverine are all really great flicks.

I hadn't realize until all the Wolverine poster thefts last year that maybe studios deliberately design these things to look as shitty as possible so that they don't get stolen.

Umm..there were several shots of sentinels through the trailer?

Jumping up to attack Storm. Flying down from the giant hovercraft/ships. Shooting the face beam at the end - though that one might be Nimrod, who knows.

I'm more hyped for this than anything in the MCU.

I can't get over how utterly over-fucking-rated some of those Marvel movies are (want to talk about REAL hot garbage? Let's talk
Thor: The Dark World
...fucking YUCK!)

People seem to forget that X2 is one of the best comic book films of all-time, and this looks to be on par with that one.

I'm sorry but Wolverine Origin is hot garbage which has Will.I.am

I laughed too hard at "The Director of X-Men and X-Men 2", I interpreted it as "listen guys, we know X-men 3 was garbage and we seek forgiveness, we brought back the director who made the ones you guys liked!"

My idea of sentinels are these:

If the thing that attacks Storm in the beginning is consider some different version of a Sentinel, I'm ignorant to that. I'm referring to the traditional, FOX cartoon, notion of the Sentinel.

Thor 2 was a pretty average, inoffensive, unambitious affair. Your usual Mahvel production.
I think Thor 2's biggest problem was that it just didn't have fun with itself like the first one did. At least not until the last 20 minutes or so. Hemsworth played Thor way too somber for the majority of the proceedings.

Looks like a Dyson. I wonder if it comes with a "no loss of suction" guarantee.

Apparently there are two versions of Sentinels in the movie. Those you posted are in the past/70s with Fassbender and McAvoy, while the stealth weird ones attacking Storm are the future versions involving McKellen + Stewart and so on.

I instantly thought that the last one was Nimrod.

Good trailer. I liked the line when Magneto told Xavier that maybe he should have fought harder for the things he lost. It's something a young Magneto would say, just a touch assholic.

Eh. It looks solid enough but I'm not sure where all the love for this is coming from. While McAvoy and Fassbender are always worth turning up to see everything else looks fairly routine.

I'd like to think that Fox are holding a lot of the film's big action set pieces back and not showing it in the trailer (which is how it should be obviously) but there is a part of me that thinks there simply isn't that many 'big moments' to show.

While I really enjoyed First Class I'm not very confident about what Singer (or more to the point Fox) will do with the series going forward.

I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.
