Trailer looked fantastic. I was kinda cautious about this one before, but now I'm in.

Also, has it been said how they're explaining how Prof is even alive in the future? He was pretty dead at the end of the 3rd movie, after credit scene aside.

Looks good, but I still have a really hard time caring about the characters and storyline. I feel absolutely no investment in what's going on, and the movies have been very sporadic/random/haphazardly handled so far IMO. It's like they cannot figure out what story they want to tell, and keep trying new things to make it more interesting.

Very good trailer, I trust Singer to provide a good movie.

I don't.

The amount of star power in this film is just off the fucking charts. The budget must be ridiculous.

My idea of sentinels are these:

If the thing that attacks Storm in the beginning is consider some different version of a Sentinel, I'm ignorant to that. I'm referring to the traditional, FOX cartoon, notion of the Sentinel.

Go back to the trailer to the part where Dinklage is speaking and pay close attention.

Anna Paquin is still listed in the credits at the end even though there's not a single shot of her in the trailer. I guess they decided to keep her in the movie.

Just one glorious ass shot is all it takes for me to enjoy her presence. She's the reason I watch True Blood whenever I happen to pass by it.

Where are you sayers of nay, now?

Where are all the people who were shitting all over this like pigeons on a Lexus?

Called it.

Captain America in April
Amazing Spider-Man 2 in May
Guardians of the Galaxy in June

My superhero needs are set for the next three months

Days of Future Past in May, and it'll be better than all three.

I don't know why people are doubting the man that gave us X1 and X2 and most of the team behind First Class.

Winter Soldier is looking hella good, I'll give that. Far better than I thought it would. But it's kind of hard for the one-off movies to have stakes after The Avengers. Feels like things are in a holding pattern until Age of Ultron.

ASM2 is looking far, far better than it sounded initially and the newer trailers are good stuff. But it's going to be a hot, fun mess more than anything. I'm sure it'll please a lot of people but it's hard for me to give completely into the hype considering the mediocre, butchered ASM1.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a wildcard. Could be crap or amazing. Trailers have me interested but not excited. The biggest thing it has going for it IMO is it directly leads into Age of Ultron supposedly.

Looks like they actually have some of the post-production done now. The first teaser was very clearly just after filming finished and they had no shots ready to show except some actor closeups.

I still worry it's going to be either a complete mess, or just almost all the cast are going to barely be in it.

So in this one Wolvie is sent back whereas in the comic it was Kittie Pryde and in the cartoon it was Bishop, right? Not sure if I have that correct. I kinda wish it wasn't. Hugh as Wolverine is sort of getting old already. Would have been nice to have him be a little less in the lime light in this one.

Was that thing that shot a laser out of its face a Sentinel?
If so HOLY SHIT is this thing UGLY!!

Other than that this looks like it's finally going to be a good X-Men movie again. I wish Marvel could get their license back from...Sony, was it? to make future X-Men movies.

I cna't imagine anyone else as Wolverine, though.
Also, do you know the term Wolverine Publicity?
It's in full effect it seems.

Pretty sure they sent him back for age reasons. I'm assuming that both Bishop and Kitty were not born (or were super young) in the 70's. Unlike Wolverine.

It's Fox and it's never happening. Fox has shown that they can spit out XMen/Wolverine movies like nobodies business which keeps the agreement alive. To be honest, I'm surprised so many people want this. I mean, Fox has delivered 2, maybe 3 or 4 good Xmen movies and 2 stinkers which seems to be a pretty good average. It's not like Marvel is immune to putting out bad movies and if they had Spiderman and Xmen, you likely wouldn't see them putting resources into stuff like Guardians of the Galaxy.

Fox.

Sony has Spider-Man ;)

Here's hoping it turns into a decent movie. I really liked First Class. I even enjoyed the Wolverine.

Saw the trailer a few hours ago ago and didn't pay attention to the release date. Damn, I thought it was releasing in like December or something, not May. What a surprise.

Looked pretty cool. But I suspect the parts I'm most interested in (dystopian future) will only be brief CG flashbacks.

Why is Magneto wearing a hockey pad?
