I'm not too sure about it though, the spikiness reminds me of Destiny.

I don't think it's based off of any existing Gundam. Probably just a completely custom design. The closest thing I can see is maybe Kyrios, but that's reaching a bit.

Looks very Kyrios, yet very Wing/Wing Zero... Argh.
The mobile suit to ne looks like they combined Wing, Zero, and Reborns.

Bird mode seems like Zero merged with Kyrios(orange transformer from OO right?) and it looks better the Wing TV or Zero TV bird modes at least.

The head structure is definitely Epyon, IMO.

The Face is a throw-up but it seems to be a sleek version of Wing Zero maybe with the Kyrios face-plate.

The shilouette of the Rinascita's bird mode is reminiscent of Epyon's in shape too, to me as it's very squat and thick. Most MA modes for the jets tend to be very sleek like Airmaster/Burst, Kyrios/Arios, and Zeta. The only other one that's kinda squat is ZZ's but that still is a full on plane, lol.

The hard edges are reminiscent of OO or Seed designs overall though.

HGBF Gyan Vulcan incoming?

Edit: Maybe yes

I hope so. While I don't like buying HG kits I know for a fact that his will never get a MG release so the HG will have to do.

I love how Susumu slowly transformed with each iteration the close range melee oriented Gyan into a mid-range weapon barrage one.

Predictable, but good ep and action nonetheless. At least it wasn't the same Build Knuckle, lol.
Dark Matter so boss.

Also,
Reiji's from A Bao A Qu? xD

Great action overall, and while I think we all knew the punch was coming, I'm glad they made it more dynamic. The actual battle was really solid and I loved the effects on the sword throw. Shit was hot.

This fucking show.

Wow.

I don't know, a bunch of that battle was kind of silly but the RG Double Build Knuckle itself saved it. So much fake tension, especially with how ambigious discharge actually works or builds up. And then slapping purged parts back on lol. Oh, and China and her "they have RG!" was pretty cringe-worthy.

Next episode looks to be a promising way to go out (and to sneak in some last minute but much needed gunpla promotion for Crossbone Maoh and Miss Sazabi). I also wonder if we'll finally see Takeshi, Chinan, or Ramba fight?!

Good episode. Good fight. Good effects. Good punching (the right sort of punching).

Next week though. Zomg. I can't even begin to imagine. Lol. /dead

Episode 24

Dat Dark Matter. The battle was pretty good. Next episode will have so much fanservice.

And hopefully we can have the true Reiji and Sei Vs Meijin fight.

Yea, fuck this. The whole cheating subplot got old awhile ago and when they're so overtly cheating like this, so much of the emotional payoff is down the drain. I don't care if the show is working on a meta level, it's not fun to watch and just makes the whole thing more good vs evil than I would have liked. It also makes it seem like an out in the way of making Rei and Seiji win by abnormal methods.

This is the true blemish on the series.

So
chairman was from Reiji's country after all

Also predictable, but the fight was good and it had a nice spin on it.

Where's
Master Gundam
tho D:

Also that victory pose reminded me of G Gundam.

Fun fight. So aqua discharge is
"arrow" funnels?
. Too many shits going on so I don't know what they were doing exactly.

Also
Reiji seems to know A Baoa Qu. Don't tell me that's where fucking Arian is? And if that turns out to be true, he is a prince of Arian which means he is one of Zabi family?

Nah, I'm pretty sure all the arrow stuff is just a more flashy way of animating the "power" discharge, which basically powers up whatever attack you throw into the field created by the arrows.

Aqua is something we'll never see on the show. But Se Jun Kim (one of the lead animators, and the mecha animation director of today's episode) posted on twitter his imaged version of Aqua mode being used in a fun non-battle situation:

Lol.

This just makes me sad as all I see is E7.

Shounen Heart + Build Strike Surfing plz.

They were pretty much pulling bullshit out of their asses for this fight.

I like that Ms. Baker was a huge Gunpla nerd before she LOST HER WAY.

This show better get another season or two. Bandai has to be making a killing off it. I've never seen kits fly off the shelves as fast as these HGBF kits do. I haven't seen a Fenice, Beargguy III, Kampfer Amazing or GP base in weeks if not months for some. Heck even the ugly Miss Sazabi is already sold out at one of the shops by my house.

Btw, who else?

Admit it, you thought of it too.

BUILD LOVE ME CHAIN

Gundam Build Fighter Episode 24:

The problem of basing your series around the concept of plastic models is that when you try to get super serious you just look overwrought and ridiculous. Even Yu-Gi-Oh! knew this and tacked on some real stakes to the proceedings.
Also, aside from the arena change how exactly was Meijin cheating? Are things like ruthless aggression and targeting joints and broken parts illegal? That aside I rather liked the final battle, well, I too will call bullshit on half the moves Star Build Strike were pulling. Indeed, this battle was shoehorned into the whole heroic template since I am pretty such Build Strike was down for long enough for Exia to be declared the victor. Of course since this is a final battle new moves are produced. Indeed we also get the requisite new final move to finish the bout. Ho, right, special mention to the soundtrack, really made the battle come alive. As far as the AILEUMS! subplot kicking into overdrive at the end, all I can say is no, sir, I do not like it.

Discharge arrows? Discharge improvised sword railgun? They were running on 10% Discharge and yet were able to do all of this.

If I was to try and defend some of the "out of nowhere" special moves used in this fighter I'd say the discharge sword railgun was just a modification of their normal discharge attack where they shoot though the discharge, except in this case they had no gun so they used to it to shoot their sword. Why they hadn't used this before is a pretty good question, except that I assume improving the power of your rifle shot is better than throwing swords.

The arrows though? That's really from nowhere!

Not that I really cared, the fight was well animated and well executed throughout and I was kind of expecting some ludicrous moves to combat the Trans-am. It actually ended up being way better than I had hoped. I wasn't really expecting a "gritty" fight either, the show clearly showed us the best grounded Gundam battle in the Kampfer Amazing vs Sniper showdown. Not that I wouldn't want more of that, of course.

B-b-b-but what about Kiraran Mihoshi?

They were able to do that with 10% since they were not using full output mode.
If you notice they have emitters all over the gundam and when they use it they all glow and form a huge circle in full output mode .
At that point in the fight they only had the leg ones which is all they could have use , we already know discharge mode make things faster and more powerful from other eps so all they did use that .
The problem is we have not seen discharge mode since ep 14 if i remember right and it was not use in any of the other fights .
All we saw this ep was discharge mode mix with RG system which is Build Strike at it strongest .

EDIT since i forget all the Arrows are is animation for small discharged circles , there was reason why every fight before this one no let them get discharge mode .

lolololol

lol

oh man
that would be hilarious.

also where is Master Gundam ;-;

The fight still wasn't better than the K9 Sniper GM, but it was fun. That final pose, it needed the finger pointing to the sky man.

I can't believe it's almost over.
This was a great Gundam series.

Anyway, this was a greatly animated episode.
Too bad Yuuki couldn't give the battle he promised, being controlled and all. He might have had a better chance of winning if the chairman wasn't so obsessed with seeing Reiji lose that it came to that.

Also, I'm not complaining about the Build Knuckle thing. At least Sei/Reiji had to improve on the move after regaining their momentum in the heat of battle.

I really want to buy one of the models later.

Im so happy to hear Fenice is doing well. Gundam needs more Asymmetrical designs.

I really hope this last ep shows all the lead Gundams from the past get trashed. We still haven't seen stuff like WZC and Strike Freedom.

My prediction for the finale

Full-blown fan service with all those custom Gunpla showing off their special moves to kill grunts. Then them getting into A Baoa Qu just to get wiped by Miyashita's "Final Boss". Then everyone get together and Sei/Reiji shoot united "Sekiha Tenkyoken" bs through the boss's chest....

Please don't be like that.....
