I was expecting this from Marvel:

i'm not going to lie

i like the x-men days of future past design just a little better for some odd, mysterious reason

I guess I'll post this here, too
MCU Quicksilver looks utterly ridic, but I'll refrain from judging until I see some promotional pictures/video.

I remember that the first pictores from Captain America: The First Avenger looked like hot garbage, yet the movie ended up having some of the strongest art direction of the entire MCU, easily on par with Thor.

I vote we stop going "OMG THEY GOT IT SO WRONG" and instead realize Quicksilver is just a douchey idiot who has always looked dumb.

One looks like a total tool from the 70's, the other looks like a total tool in 2014.

This has largely been overlooked I think when people talk about the Days of Future Past version of the character. We're dealing with a character being shown in two different eras. I'm sure a X-men Quicksilver during the same time as The Wolverine and X-men The Last Stand would have a different outfit.

Also it's going to be interesting to see what their personalities and acting is like. People knocking on the X-men version but it's possible he might come off as the more likeable of the two versions. People could hate the Avengers versions for all we know even with a possibly better outfit.

Speaking of captain America y'all see this recently? Watched it again in anticipation of the sequel and hoooooly shit WOAT cg in the first 45 minutes

What were they thinking with putting his face on that dudes body. It was like that twilight baby all over again, I swear I noticed a scene when his head moved and his face didn't for a split second too

The vibe was pretty decent though. Steve Rogers is a good dude, movie regresses funnily enough once he actually becomes captain America.

Maybe there was something in the agreement between Fox and Marvel that said that both of them could use Quicksilver but they had to make him look as stupid as possible.

They should have ditched the white hair, canon be damned. White hair on a young person is something that is impossible to not make look stupid in live action.

I'm glad they dyed his hair. Hopefully his costume looks better on screen. Looks like it might be regular clothes going by the way Scarlet Witch is basically just wearing an outfit. She looks great IMO.

EDIT: Ok, other pics look better. Definitely just an outfit. Weird choice with the beard though.

I don't even care how accurate or right it is or whatever, I've never really cared about that sort of thing. I just think they look bad period. Maybe some people think they look bad due to accuracy but I think they look bad due to not... looking good. :p

Didn't somebody post a thread here once dying his hair white to look more anime?

You talking about Cap? That's Evan's actual body. They shrunk the body with CG.

Thing is in DOFP, Quicksilver is nothing more than a minor character, whereas he is going to have a more prominent role in AOU.
