Thanks, I found that out recently but really don't want to upset AmiAmi by cancelling some stuff. N-Y seems good for when I want at least 2 figures in one month, because the shipping is fixed at around 40 Euros. Also, they charge French VAT, which I believe is "only" 21% as opposed to Portuguese VAT which is 23%.
About BiJ, well, it always seemed to me that you have to pay upfront, I can't find a "charge later credit card" option. So never ordered from them but have a friend that regularly does and the first two orders he asked to mark down got stuck in customs because they didn't believe the price!!! Seems our customs is full of figure experts. So he now orders but only marks down the shipping costs and maybe a couple extra thousand yen, but pretty much every order above 22 euros gets through customs. Doesn't help that the country in bankrupt and the government desperately needs any money it can get...

Got Tharja today, which was pretty quick for SAL.
I'm really happy with her. The hair on mine is flawless, thank god, because that's always the thing I'm most bothered about for whatever reason. The paint job overall isn't Momo or 7th Dragon good, but it still mostly looks great and isn't some massive lapse in MF's standards. The reproduction of the sculpt is good, although a tad uneven in places like the head ornament. The knuckle ring position only looks a bit too low when you get up close, but even 1 to 2ft from where I'm sitting now it doesn't look misplaced. I really like the fact that she's free standing, and might display with her without the base on my shelf, although the soft blue velvet goes pretty well with the figure itself and her accessories. Oh, the box is uglyyyyyyy. Get it together MF's intern/graphic designer.
Everything great about Tharja's prototype basically came through in the production version, so I'm content. Hopefully Cordelia is given to Shining Wizard as well, and the line continues to be this good or better.

Yeah, had the same here in Belgium. Asuna and Kirito figmas were marked down and I lost almost 3 weeks because the Customs sent me a mail request for the bill and proof of payment, and got stuck with extra charges on top of that. Gave up on that. Normal EMS or Trans-Logi for me from now on. NY also allows cancellations so it's win-win really, with a slightly higher price tag.

I want this too, but it comes out in May, one of my busiest months so I'll have to skip it I guess.

I need to try it again, I only watched the first episode and kinda lost interest. It should appeal to me, I love tanks, I love anime, and it has cute moeness....still left it on my que on Crunchyroll.

Probably not as the box would be large enough to hold a decent sized child, considering the overpacking that Ami tends to do.
And on an unrelated note, my Velvet finally got delivered. She's going to be a work figure so I'll try to get some picutres up today. I might even finish unboxing Dizzy while I'm at it...

It comes with a single base, but it's in two pieces. You can separate the top pedestal part for a more simple one [that takes up less room].

You should be fine. Nendoroid boxes are pretty small, and it's not as though the artbook/magazine will take up much space. I've had 5+ scaled figures [among other things] ship in a single box, so the same should be possible here. It will definitely be EMS, though, as you expected.
If the item in your combined shipment is delayed into another month, AmiAmi will separate/split it from your order so that your March 2014 order can be shipped out within the month. Sometimes they're a bit slow splitting the order, especially if there are numerous delays into varying months, but a simple email [asking them to ship all available items and continue waiting for the rest] is easy enough to do.

Yeah, I've passed on three figures in the last week that normally would have been instant pre-orders. Feels good. Once the initial excitement of a newly-posted pre-order passes, it's surprising how many figures one doesn't actually need. Nothing is stopping me from getting Max Factory's 1/300 Himeji Castle, though. NOTHING.
Also, Tharja has arrived! She's gorgeous. Hard to believe she's one of the first figures I ordered way back when. I was surprised there aren't any pegs or anything on the base, just a soft surface. Similar to Max Factory's Muramasa, I take it?
Silliness. I have Satan ordered, and I'll probably grab a pre-owned Lucifer at some point, but I have no intention of buying them all. I'd love to get an original-colored Leviathan though if I could fine one cheap enough.
I wish I could tell you, I still haven't received her. In my quest to save money, I opted for SAL Registered. Hopefully I'll have her by next week. But yes, from what I've seen, it's a similar case.
It does feel good to kind of step back and re-evaluate your pre-orders. It's not just the cost, but the space concerns that this hobby provides. If you can do without something, despite that something looking nice, it's probably for the best.

You misunderstand, I have Satan pre-ordered, and I was lucky enough to stumble across a Lucifer, but that's as far as I plan on going down THAT rabbit hole. The other ones are cool, but way too pricey. The fact they're all exclusives makes them easy enough to pass on.
hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng, I gave in, Beelzebub is just too fucking cute man, I couldn't hold out. Doesn't help shes also one of the more respectable looking seven deadly sins figures. The only other one I ever almost jumped on was Leviathan and I held off due to feeling like I couldn't display her. I would totally jump on her if she was offered again so I don't want to make the same mistake again. ORDERED.
