Why would having metal legs prevent a blackout? Certainly you'd have less blood in your body with no legs and high Gs would still have the same effect.

Unless I'm way wrong and losing body parts doesn't lower blood volume, which would bring up the issue of how many parts you could lose before your body popped because its too full of blood.

High Gs force blood into your lower body, this is why actual real life G-suits tighten around the trousers. Robolegs stop the blood from going into your legs, High Gs would still be uncomfortable, just like in real life with G-suits, but you will still have enough blood in your brain to not black out.

Yes, if you had no legs you'd have lower blood volume. The blood would still go down, just not into your legs since you don't have them. Even though you had no legs, the blood would still leave your brain. Missing your legs shouldn't have any effect.

The point is that too much blood goes into your legs, without legs the blood has less space to go and thus your brain loses less blood. The fact that you have less blood because you don't have legs doesn't mean much because the problem isn't the blood in your legs already, it's the blood that moves to your legs.

I'm trying to find where my source is from, so until then, take it with a grain of salt, I guess. But also know the whole g-force thing about blood flowing to their legs is also nothing more than a fan theory. Citing the 'did you know gaming' episode does not count as a source.

And even then it was more like they have no intention of making the models "serious" so they stuck with that. 64 was a "remake" of SNES so they reused assets, and it was only in Adventures did the characters get actual updated looks.

Whenever I see people take the theory of g-force shit and the metal legs as canon flares up my nerves for some odd reason. Not as much as Pokemon misconceptions mind you, but still nearing there.

As fun as hell as project M is, it honestly just smacks as DISRESPECTFUL as hell when people treat the modification of the actual game as better than the real thing. It is nonsensical, since the mod would not even exist without the original game. Ike,metaknight,zerosuit,Wario,diddy,olimar,snake,sonic,rob,pit,wolf, dedede wouldn't even fucking exist, nor would the new stages if it wasn't for Brawl. A game that Masahiro Sakurai, building upon the other 2 games, (one of which is the apple of so many competitive smashers eye; Most of which are the ones who have so much unbridled adoration for Project M) may as well have developed and pain stakingly balanced all of them himself because he is a mad genius.

Disgusting and absurd when you think about it....

Respect has nothing to do with whether or not one is better than the other, lol.

Project M is the epitome of what competitive Smash Bros can be and I find it absurdly fun, long after I had become overly frustrated with playing Brawl at a higher skill level. So yes I think it is a much more fun "thing" to play than vanilla Brawl, and I do think it is better :)
 
Yep, the project that seeks to take an existing game and make it better by using the best elements of said game and combining them with the best elements of a previous game in the same series is disrespectful. I would understand that sort of argument if the PM team was actively dissing on Brawl or suggesting that Brawl was directly inferior or something but they're, um, really not. And never have, to my knowledge.

This just in: HeartGold/SoulSilver are disrespectful to the original Gold/Silver because they change things to make them better.
