List of every PS4 game announced for 2014 so far – 100+ and growing (PS blog)

I want a PS4 but I also want a PC. That list looks OK but not enough for me to jump yet.
Easy decision for me as I will get more out of the PC now than the PS4. Will get a PS4 when there are at least 7-10 exclusive games I want.
 
Tbh, there's not alot there for the coming year, especially fall, that interests me. Not an indictment on ps4 of course moreso AAA gaming :/

Ps: Does this confirm hotline miami 2 as September then? It was previously said it was q3.

These indie games still have no retail presence right? That's still a huge problem. The vast
majority of people won't know about these 100 games because they aren't on shelves imo.

Not having to worry about retail distribution, is probably why indie games are so succesful now and not like say 10 years ago.

In the age of iOS , the play store , Amazon , Steam or any of a ton of other digital storefronts it's silly to suggest console owners won't know these games exist.


OT - Sony need to drop some bombs at E3, that first party list is poor compared to their usual output.
 
Hopefully some of those TBA's slip into summer. Rogue Legacy or Starbound, preferably. I need those games bad.
 
I would like most of these thank you very much. I do hope we get news on Driveclub soon, I do hope things are well at Evolution, I really want a new Motorstorm!

But if it's an indictment on AAA gaming then surely that list is great for you? Or do you mean, you want AAA games, but not what's being offered?

I'm not saying they actually need to be sold via retail, but are there ads and so forth for these indie games? Or is it purely through word of mouth and specialized sites like gaming sites?
 
Lots of games for PS4 owners to choose from there.

I don't understand how people can say they don't like indie games as if they are all the same game. Even if you don't like 80% of them there are still lots to choose from. In my experience they have a better chance of being enjoyable than a AAA game.
 
The list might be a bit optimistic with the TBA2014

I dont see The Division coming out this year. But otherwise pretty decent list and enough to look forward to.

I do miss however the killer app that is going to make me buy one. I dont know if Destiny and MGS will be enough.

Please convince me :)

Well, yeah, I love indie games so that part is great but I also would like some interesting AAA experiences too but there's just not much there that's interesting.

Personally, it's just Evil Within, Destiny and Batman. Just kinda sad that it's March and there are only 3 AAA games to look forward to in my case.

If you're saying Proteus is not a game, then I agree. Other than that, I can have my snacks and enjoy a few AAA steaks too.
