I can kind of see your point but I would think you can find maybe 5 or 6 games out of a list that long that appeal.

Mhmm, Destiny is the only console exclusive title on that list that interests me (I guess Phantom Pain won't be out in 2014, right?). I'm seriously considering selling my PS4, but then again e3 isn't that far away. I'm still hoping for a next gen port of GTA V.

It's yet to be officially announced for the US. That'll probably come around E3.
Out of all the games listed, the only one that appeals to me is Sniper Elite 3.

I was sad to not see The Order 1886 on there. Then saw that it was in the O's not the T's like the other "The..." titles. Bastards made me sad for a good minute lol.
My math sucks, but I thought 4 million sales are fine if the game's budget is "only" 60 million. Around 100 million or more and then you might have a problem. Bioshock: Infinite and TR both sold 4-5 million (originally) and had a 100 million budget, I think.

I hope Bungie will deliver with Destiny. Don't care about racing games but I need that DriveClub PS+ Edition as soon as possible because next-gen graphics.

Agreed, my entertainment is dictated on who is publishing the title. The fluff should be cleaned up a bit, we need more games with meat and substance like Call of Duty.

Why? Even with all the layoff news they have 1st party teams and The Order with RAD, just because they aren't in the first year doesn't tell me they aren't being made.
Yes, Call of Duty is literally the only AAA or non indie in existence. In fact I didn't even play Infamous, MGS, Rayman or Tomb Raider on my PS4; I just played CoD four times. Great post.

It's going to look amazing. It's being made with the nba 2k engine. Visual Concepts allowed Yukes to finish up work on 2k14 while they started working on the next gen versions.

It is not about who is publishing it. No indie dev can do what Activision has done with online servers, consistent map packs etc. May be it is not exciting any more, but it does require a big team and budget.
Same with games like GTAV, Skyrim, Infamous, Last Of Us, It is not possible for Indies to provide those kinds of experiences. I would like more variety. Some shiny, some small, jrpg, mp shooter in a good mix. Right now all we are getting is 2D Unity games.
I would complain if I see 100 MP Shooters like Titanfall and Destiny in the list.
Where is the variety ??
I'm starting to think that dev from Kingdom Come was right when he said that most third party publishers were not expecting the New consoles to be successful, and thus chose to hold back on development. I'm pumped for a lot of stuff on that list, but it's not crazy to think that the support of product from many third party pubs is pretty paltry at the moment.
The lack of games from WWS games is the one that's harder to grasp, but I would rather they announce them when they have something to show honestly.

Umm....Destiny is not an exclusive.....sorry. It has some extra missions, but not a console exclusive.

I gotta say, I'm really surprised at how many PS4 games I've purchased already. Fucking love the indie stuff. If you'd have asked me a year or so ago if I'd have even bought the thing at launch, I'd have said no, not until inFamous SS.
But now, thanks to sales, cross-gen games, PS+, and more I've got the following:
Resogun (PS+ free)
Don't Starve (PS+ free)
Dead Nation (PS+ free)
Outlast (PS+ free)
Assassin's Creed 4 (sale)
Fez (cross-buy)
Flower (cross-buy)
Just Dance 4 (got the camera as a gift, seemed the right thing to do)
Need for Speed: Most Wanted (gift)
FIFA 14
Infamous: Second Son
I know different people have different tastes and wants from gaming, but getting 1 game for free every month (not counting PS3+Vita games) and having indie ports that I'd prefer to play on the couch rather than on the computer in my study (I even own Fez for the PC, but couldn't get into playing it at my desk) makes a big difference.
Right now, the only games on my horizon this year are The Order: 1866, Destiny, NHL 15, and mayyybe Watch Dogs, yet I know I'll still get 11 more games for free and will probably wind up getting some indies (I probably won't be able to say no to Octodad).
I think if I was also a PC gamer with a powerful rig I'd be somewhat let down with the upcoming games, but then again it's kind of hard to judge a year list before E3.

I read his "console exclusive" as not on PC, not playstation 4 exclusive.
At last found a PS4 owner with Just Dance. We play Just Dance all the time on our WiiU at home. Thinking about picking up the next iteration on PS4. How is Just Dance 4. Does it require calibration etc or is it pick up and play like the Wii/WiiU versions.

If Sony had sense, they'd collaborate with Sega to localise Ishin as a PS4-exclusive and release it during the summer drought. I know Yakuza isn't a big seller, but game-starved PS4 owners will take what they can during this post-launch period.
Agreed. Also digital release of 5 and hd remakes of 1 and 2 for ps3 while we're at it.

I'm going to be so broke this year. I want so much on that list. I almost never play games on my PC so many of these games are brand new to me. I think some gaffers forget that a lot of people just want games. Exclusives are awesome, but games I can play on my console regardless to where they landed first are great too.
