PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | March 2014

That sucks. Hopefully someone will make a PS3 -> PS4 adapter/converter.

I think it has more to do with whether or not the PS4 will recognize non Sony/licensed peripherals. I dual modded my x360 fight stick and it works on PS3 -- because PS3 is able to recognize some generic USB controllers.

I hope you're right too, though. It's going to suck if I eventually get a PS4 to play games like GG Xrd and I don't have a fight stick.

My PS4 is mostly collecting dust. Im waiting for FF14 and Elder scrolls to come out. There isnt any RPG's on the system from what I can see so far and thats pretty much all I play.

Unless there's some gem in the dirt I don't know about.

Ok, either I am blind or the SEN store on PS4 is rubbish.

in the PSN store on the PS4 (UK) I am trying to find a movie.
The search at the top doesn't seem to find any movies, so I am stuck browsing through an alphabetical list in order to find it.
Thats ridiculous and wouldn't be half bad if the movies in the list wouldn't take so long to buffer and load..... o.O
What am I missing?

Anyway it appears that Captain America The Last Avenger is not available on the UK store, that makes me a sad panda.
The first time I would have been willing to folk over the cash for a movie on SEN and then Sony makes it complicated and doesn't have what my heard desires. :(
Can't help with the PS4 problem but yeah it does seem like Captain America isn't available in the UK (Checking the webstore). Which is strange because we have it here in Australia.

Yup. SFxT is a good port, but I cannot play it worth crap. Same as when I had to try to play SF2 back on the SNES. It just doesn't work... you can kinda manage the R button for proper use, but trying to use L? Ridiculous.

SFxT is a pretty bad port.

Random framerate drops even when nothing is going on.

If you just want to mess around/ play some casual matches then its ok but if you are trying to level up playing this version of the game its not going to cut it

I cant find the original tweet on Atlus asking for suggestions.

I wanna throw my hat in for TBFP, Pat would shit his pants if Atlus contacted him.

is this for the Vita?
:O pls

Nope. But Trails in the Sky 2nd is releasing this summer though.

give me a Tales or Star Ocean game on the Vita
then I'll actually finally finish one

Tales of Vesperia Portable? Tales of Vesperia portable. Only 4 years left to its 10 anniversary lol.

I'm in a similar spot. Child of Light comes out in a month, so maybe that will be worth checking out.

If I've never played anything in the monster hunting genre, should I start with Monster Hunter Freedom Unite? Or should I just go straight into Soul Sacrifice? I have both free through PS+.

Do you enjoy grindy, boring, 500 hours long games where finding enemy takes several minutes? - play MH

Want fast enjoyable action against big bosses - go with Soul Sacrifice

Soul Sacrifice present lower entry barrier for a hunting action game. If you go in blind though, Soul Sacrifice might be the best since MH is kinda sucks at explaining all of its mechanic. But, in case you want to try MH after playing SS (and like it), you have to set your expectation on different level, approach it as a different game altogether because the only common element between these two games is that 4 players ganging up big ass monsters and nothing else.

Toukiden actually the most fitting game for someone who want get into hunting action game, but since you said the options are from PS+ instant collection, there yo goes.

Hey guys can you recommended gta chinatown Wars on Vita? Hows the framerate and aliasing? Really temped to buy it since its on sale.

Pretty disrespectful of them to seek the "popular" guy to partner with then bash him in public to save face.

This is true. Not very cool of them at all.

Regardless of how likable PewDiePie is, he sure brings a lot of attention from a large audience to niche games.

Where do they bash him? They're just saying that the fans didn't like the guy and that they heard their reactions.

I don't see anything wrong with it.

I don't think they bashed him. They said that their fanbase didn't like them partnering with him or the video he made. Considering that the partnerships are made to get people interested it makes sense to ask who they would rather see if they picked someone their followers weren't interested in watching.

Just jumped on the PS4 bandwagon, can't choose between steamworld dig and strider? Anyone's who's played both, which one gives more bang for your buck?

I have had a great time with both. I haven't finished steam world dig but I have a feeling that I'm close. I beat strider 100%, you can probably do it in 10ish hours, and it seems like a game I'll replay again at some point.

Honestly you can't go wrong with either. If you have a Vita then you get SWD as a cross buy.

I would rather have Tales of the World Radiant Mythology 1-2-3 for PSP than Tales of games for Vita.

I remember reading that the producer (or whoever is in charge) of one of the smartphone crossover Tales Game mention that the said mobile game was "successor of Tales of the World Radiant Myth's content".

AKA, don't ask for more Radiant Mythology.

Don't ask me for the exact quote or a link since I think it's been a month or two ago when I saw that. :(

Fake Edit: I actually found the article. Yay...?

The guy I mentioned is actually one of Bandai Namco's chief producers.

Hmm, so strider is about 10hrs long..thats longer than I thought it would be. :) might have to go with that one for now.

I really enjoyed Strider as well, I finished the game with 84% of the items found and my playtime was six hours. But it's a damn fine game, had a great time with it.

Velocity is great, AC is as well, and Stealth inc is a fun game.

Not the best in plus history but definitely not meh. Though we already got them a year ago in europe

It becomes an UltiMEH for me since I already bought most of these on a sale, only to find them free on my + later on. I am not factoring the quality of those games, I'm just bitter with them becoming free later on. Who would enjoy seeing only two new games for my instant collection?
